This should be added to every class. Like sneak or defensive stance.

would make aggro management easier, plus let people use summons to help with portal beating in the shroud, without the risk of them being present in part 2 to screw up the 4 named there, or even in part 3 where they'll sometimes break crystals before the puzzles have been solved
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

I would like the dismiss button to work on more than just charmed creatures too! But summons only? Why not add it to affect others such as followers and hirelings. In the game NPCs sometimes can be hired and certain NPCs can be convinced to follow you. Let's make dismiss unsummon Hirelings. Let's make dismiss also make NPCs resort to going about their previous business as well. (You can tell commoner Arlos to stop following you in case you know danger is ahead, but what if there is imminent danger and you need to make an immediate order! also, commander Teresa will willingly follow and aid you if you succeed in convincing her, otherwise she will stand still and guard her position, well, if you want her to guard her position again, she can't, dismissing her will make her resume her normal behavior though... excellent for if you use it right)

If not a summon-controlling bar (aggressive/defensive/passive/etc.) then at least a feat like the dismiss charm. Have seen people summon things in, e.g., Let Sleeping Dust Lie, and it was not a pretty picture.

The command bar that Artificers have for their summoned pets?

I would like very much for the OP suggestion to be implemented, and for a command bar for my summoned creatures, including my summoned skeleton. I know skellie mobs have to use levers to open doors so they can attack players behind the door.-->( I presume used, as they run to a door, and a couple seconds later the door opens)<--

I would also like my summoned pet/aggro grabber when not in PM form to have a command bar as well.

Why is it that you have proven you can get it done, but none of the first classes to have summoned creatures can get it? Hell, since you are going to ANYWAY if you ever do it, charge us TP for the function for wiz/sorc/rang/ etc. etc that has summons available to give us a command bar. I would pay for that before I ever pay you a dime for plat storage in my shared bank that I already purchased to share items among my characters.

Oh, and fix the enormous list of KNOWN BUGS while you are at it please.

All in all would be happy with dispelling them, as a dismiss if thats the best option for summons.
IMO, a full bar for your summon would be unneeded. As it is, they are disposable additions to the current party. Only for distractions in most cases, some actually provide a bit of added dmg. If only to keep the aggro off your squishy (insert class here).

    On another, slightly related note.
Since this past update, has anyone had issues dismissing their arti's pup? The release notes had a bit about not being able to dismiss hires occasionally, but to disable the dismiss function for buggy pets is just frustrating.

I'd love a command bar to tell summoned pets where to go. My squishy bard has a choice of summoning some extra muscle to help her out, or fascinating/enthralling a group and taking 'em out slowly herself. It'd be nice to be able to enthrall a group and then tell her pet devil to attack *that* one, rather than having it jump around hitting everybody a couple of times until they wake up.

Alternatively, having it stick to a target 'til it's down (or another gets aggro) would be nice. But a bar would be good. Including special abilities where applicable (telling the earth ele which guy to grab, or the beholder when to use its deathray and when level draining is fine, etc.) and a "Guard this spot" feature (I'd like that while soloing Kobold Island so I don't have to stand around waiting for enough shards to build a turret before I move on to the next extractor) and a "Don't attack, 'cause I don't want to wake stuff up!" button

But yeah, a basic dismissal button would be good.
