    Default F1/Cl19 Orc please advise

This is my first ever build I tried to do on my own. Could anyone please advise if this would work (or if it can be done in a better way), or give reasons why it would not.

I just love the idea of a big healing Orc with a 2-hander, and hope this will have a decent amount of healing and some OK melee skills. I always play with my partner, so it will never do missions alone.

    Thanks

Well, I think you should decide if you want to be primary caster or melee. Spliting lev up ability raises into 2 stats is usually a bad idea. Whatever you will decide, remove TWF, take power attack as fighter bonus feat and take maximize as your normal feat, your blade barriers will be grateful for that and your melee dps wont suffer alot.

Starting with dex 10 is not helping you much - no AC, no reflex save to speak about. Better put those 2 stat points into int and take UMD - it is always useful. Diplomacy at 7 ranks is not helping much too, better invest skill points into balance - when you are on your back, your party can wipe

I think you should consider dropping 1 or even both mental toughness and take either empwer, heighten or spell penetration.

I'm not sure if great weapon aptiude is worth anything, but I'm not an expert in that matter. Divine cleansing is useless (IMO).

Rest looks more or less fine for me

24 wisdom for a cleric is extreamly low.

Not only that but you should weigh the benefits of the +1 fighter level vs pure cleric. think you will find that a pure cleric makes more sence. All you lose is a feat, +1 att, and minimal hp. You made no mention of tower shields so I dont think you will miss that either.

It can work but you need to max Wisdom (i.e. put all ability raises there and whatever you would put in Dex), and change your feat selection:

    1) Toughness
    1 F) Power Attack
    3) Empower Healing
    6) Maximize
    9) Quicken
    12) Extend
    15) Spell Penetration
    18) Greater Spell Penetration

It is debatable whether you need Extend (I left it there since it was in your original listing). You could take Empower instead to boost your BB and Cometfall damage.

yo nep,,i have tried the battle cleric on noturhealer,20 wf clr with 522 hp and 1993 sp,i can swing my lightning2 falchion at mobs or bust out my trip posi maul to smash on portals and i gotta tell you i have my main barbarian manixium frenzy3 wf barb max str,max con with all gear(xcept epic sos and red scale)907 self buffed(raged)hp and a 70 self buffed (raged)str and i play my cleric more cuz,i kill everything with him!!!
maximized, empowered, extended blade barriers make you deadly if you learn how to kite and have the hp to take a few hits.
all you need is empowered healing to be a great healer with a major healing lore item.(and learn how to target correctly and pay attention to redbars!!!)
with a partner to do your smashing(get a barb they are fun for friends to play)at low levels the first feat you need is empower healing and take all the enhancement lines that go with the healing line,
i didnt catch if you had access to 32 pnt builds so ill assume you are a 28 pnter
max wisdom(a must for endgame content and sp)make con 16 and put rest in str,all level ups in wis(trust me)
if your a 32 pnter max wis max con and roll out
    all feats u need are,,empowered healing,empower spell,quiken,maximize,toughness and extend.
youll spend the low levels being healer and after 11 you will have to be carful not to steal aggro!
o and if you do go 1 lvl of fighter ake shield mastery and get leviks shield from hound and youll be able to be a radiant servant standing in the fray and when the noobie pugs die around you you will toss ur blades down and do all the killin and come bak and pick up the pikers!!,
the only thing that is different is i play warforged so i can take alot more damage and have alot more hp,your halforc will have the natural str so you dont really need to put any points into str cuz youll have plenty or str with items and pot rages and the ocrish fury,,what youll need to make any battle cleric viable is hp.period.300 isnt enuff you need 400 minimum 500 is best,
just my suggestion and,is the funnest build ive ever played, hope this helped gl and have fun!!
