I'm all for allowing people to unlock certain things over time. I kind of agree with this, as it would require lots of gametime, and most likely purchasing extra content just to get to level 20 twice on the same toon. Therefor earning Turbine money at the same time.

If you were to TR from an Elf and a Human, you could unlock Half-elf...

BUT, the only way to play Half-elf would be from the 3rd TR, and not unlocked on the server.

Probably will fail, but like with any idea if you try then you can find a way to employ it.
Right now we have two types of races - ftp and ptp races. Im just giving devs a hint that if
races had a second factor involved first being money and second being a reward for a well invested
character, then the game would simply be better.

You must be thinking of some other world. In this world druids would be more closely linked to Orcs and Half Orcs (although some other races are drawn to the class)

You're right there, but after thousands of years, there are even halfling and half-elven sects. But it was first taught to the Orcs.

So you can't really just tie the class to a specific race.

First off drow is not an unlockable cause its too easy, and you can do it with money.
Half elf would be the obviouse choice if the devs havnt exploited them yet, but now its too late.
I dont know what parents have to do with it.
And in my world elfs are close to nature and so are druids, and thats where they connect for me.

So in conclusion like i said this is just a thread to ponder about, the hint is that we could unlock races with achievments of some sort. And im not directly reffering to half-elfs they are simply the best example, any other race would suffice, like a hobit tr from a halfling or gnome whatever. Ofcoarse this game isnt built for that sort of thing, its too small.

P.S. tr+class combo could also work this way
mage or sorcerer tr unlocks shaman for example.
