    Arrow Ability To Drop Plat?

Can we please have the ability to drop plat? Minimal stacks of 100kpp only!

I'd LOVE to run around Stormreach, find amazing hiding spots, and put little easter eggs in there.

It would get a lot of bored people something nice to do.

While I like the idea I give it about 34 minutes before someone works out how to use it to exploit somehow.
A friend will bail you out of jail.
A mate will be sitting in there beside you saying "**** that was awsome!!!"

I would like to be able to place markers of some type in a quest where the dungeon gets all twisty and I tend to run over a section several times trying to figure out where I made the wrong turn...Scoundrels Run in Three Barrel Cove for instance. That quest is easy to get turned around in.

There are several quests that I've wanted to leave a marker to note that I was already there when I'm lost. Something like being able to leave colored rice.

Either that or let us make map notes.

This reminds me of the old text MUD games where if you junked an item it would magically appear on the city dump for the new players to rummage.
It evolved so that when you dropped things in the city a janitor would come and personally take it to the city dump.
You could then go to the dump and rummage, but if you dropped an item by mistake could wait till no guards were around to kill the janitor and retrieve it.

Maybe ddo could let you junk stuff with a well of the many worlds? That's basically a two end portable hole (the item).
Maybe things you place in there end up in a pawn broker, except you don't gain plat for it.
But it is more fun to just let some pile up and have a random chance of junk loot from rummaging.
Beside you risk facing the infamous city dump d&d monster, the shambling mound.

Double post but, gotta note you can mark things by using symbol spells.
Players with greensteel may have clickies of these.
Does what u ask suprisingly good, so much that every player that is shown this keeps doing it all the time.
    And they come colored yeah.

Not sure I really want to make greensteel just for this. Maybe if I can find a clicky with 5 charges on it. 3 may be enough. I've gotten lost fairly well before.

So I guess the op wants is to find a way to stop peeps killing him the Lobster via distraction?

plat farmers would be swarming all over if implemented probably...

Today I discovered a great way to do this. Use the "Staff of Arcane Power" and use Globe of Invulnerability.

We were heading for Hound and I used that thing like every 20 feet and people would run through it and be like whoa that's pretty.

Too many ways to circumvent game mechanics dealing with plat caps and opening the door for plat farmers once again.

    Default Hide and seek

It is already done in another form. Put up an LFM saying find me and get a prize. No coding necessary and you can hand out your plat as much as you like.

Invis clickie + mass camo makes it easier to hide.

Problem solved, no need to drop your nuggets as you go!

    Default Not in public places

If you were able to drop stuff in private instances. ......Maybe that would be ok. But then you have to ask yourself: Why would you want to?

As for Public instances. IE. Harbor, Market, ect....... NO WAY!

Allow me to give a crude yet accurate example of what the market would look like. With help from an oldie but goodie......Diablo2
