    Arrow Sorcerer Past-Life Feat Suggestion

"You faintly remember the days of constant nuking in your past life. You can learn 1 Evocation spell from the Sorcerer spell line equal to your highest casting level."

    Example:
You were a sorc but you TR'd into a bard.

You're currently lvl 1 so only know bard level 1 spells.

Thus, you may know 1 lvl 1 sorc Evocation spell.

    You choose... Burning Hands.

At lvl 4 bard spells you change to Wall of Fire!

But, you're not spec for fire/ice because you're a bard!

Thus, you're not OP. But, it's still neat.

A bard could only learn up to a lvl 6 sorc evocation spell because their highest casting lvl is 6.

If you went 20cleric you and held a Green Blade you could crit on bludgeon damage with a Meteor Swarm, though.

At least I didn't say any spell, like Power Word Stun or something...

Oh, and wizards a past-life similar to this with magic missiles, so I figure sorcs should too.

Isn't the past life feat Arcane Prodigy enough?

I mean, the wizard past life feat of Arcane Initiate grants the Magic Missile spell a boosted effect and number of missiles per caster level.

The prodigy feat gives you more spell points as well as the quirky 1d12 elemental ray spell that starts with a punch and gains more power as your caster progresses (read: +1d12 per 3 caster levels). Isn't that enough of a boost?

stop beeing reasonable... this is about pvp... errr... wait...

seeing the topic i thought of something more in the line of:

thermo nuclear mass obliteration. lets you instantly melt all pvp opponents. active ability. recharges 1 every 7 seconds.
    Thelanis - Inferus Sus
Keeper Refugee - Exclusively playing Warforged
Nursing IsFutile (FvS) - Unorthodox Behaviour (Kensai) - Bigbofo (Warchanter) - Nukelear Blast (Sorc) - Jurugu Fleshbane (currently TRing) - Reviving IsCheaper (Radiant Blaster)

What if a Sorc were tp TR into .... a Sorc again?
You see in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Ah, my bad. Thought this was a legitimate suggestion and not a PvP suggestion.

Well, you'd get more spell points from the freebie past life, and then more spell points from the feat, and then more spell points from being a Sorcerer. Oh, and lots of extra bang for your buck in the process.

Then.. maybe the past life feat could only cost 5 SP, such as how wizards can do silly things like that now.

    Heck yeah sounds amazin'. +1

    With this suggestion...

If a sorcerer TRs into a Sorcerer again, it basically opens up the ability to have 4 level 9 spells. As he says it would be the highest spell level.

Then, those passive past life feats can stack up to 3 times. So get me 3 Sorcerer past lives. I could have all the level 8 and 9 spells that are really crucial.

    That's not OverPowered, is it?

As long as you can only get the ability to cast level 1 spells like Burning Hands I'm satisfied.
Wizards can mass use Magic Missile over and over and get other bonuses for their past life.
A Sorcerer should be able to retain their sorcerer's abilities to cast a specific level one (1) spell as a spell like ability very often.
So to speak, that would mean the reincarnated person would be like a wizard reincarnated, but spamming of a different level one (1) spell other than magic missile.

Arcane Initiate is much better than Arcane Prodigy: DCs rule the end-game. The problem with the AP SLA is that it has a save (for half dmg) and the DC is based on your CHA. Great tool for early leveling, but the SLA peters out around Gianthold.
