    Default Ask the Dev's

You know after listening to the latest DDOcast, "Ask the Dev's" I almost feel guilty about some of the negativity I fall into. Actually hearing the Dev's discuss aspects of the game makes an extraordinary difference in opinions on certain topics even though I disagree on some points.

There is one nagging question that I really wish could be asked in response to the numerous, "we can't do that because of the way the game was originally implemented" answer. Will there ever be a DDO2 that will incorperate new technology and wisdom from DDO?

To be frank, I hope not. I... dislike... 4E, and as WotC will no longer hand out a license for 3.x, that means a DDO2 will be 4E. Maybe once 5E hits, we'll see.

I'm still stuck on 2nd edition myself

The ruleset is important but more so are the writers and game design. I just feel like there's sooo much more that can be done in a DDO2 enviroment.
