It's a very long way from Thornlord to Epic Thornlord, with a number of difficult items to farm in between.

I wouldn't price yourself out of a trade/purchase. It is very nice as an Epic however, roughly equivalent to a GS bow in the right circumstances.

I see them priced much higher in the AH.

Not sure if you would sell it for much, but you are welcome to try. The bow is easily farmed in an afternoon, while the shard that is needed to make it epic may take six months to acquire.
