I haven't bought 32 point builds yet. For 28 pt builds, I have little idea how to customize with epic levels in mind. Should I just stick with the premade builds only until I get 32 point? Advice and suggestions. Trying to learn what works.

In general the default class paths Turbine provides are suboptimal at best, terrible at worst. You're better off browsing tihocan's excellent thread for improved versions of most of them. Or search the forums for builds. Or ask here for advice once you have an idea of what sort of char you want to play.
