    Default Repeater question.

Does having high/good STR / power attack effect damage from repeaters?

no. thats why repeaters are subpar weapons past lvl 8 or something...

rogue mechanics add their intelligence modifier however.
    Thelanis - Inferus Sus
Keeper Refugee - Exclusively playing Warforged
Nursing IsFutile (FvS) - Unorthodox Behaviour (Kensai) - Bigbofo (Warchanter) - Nukelear Blast (Sorc) - Jurugu Fleshbane (currently TRing) - Reviving IsCheaper (Radiant Blaster)

Short answer is (almost) none of the ranger abilities or feats boost dmg per hit with crossbows. Bow STR, Manyshot, and AA imbues only affect short- and longbows; crossbows and thrown weapons do not benefit. I think I've read DWS Sniper Shot works with any ranged attack, inc. crossbows, but I've never tested it myself and it's a poor consolation prize for the worst ranger PrE. [Power Attack only affects melee attacks.]

The general consensus seems to be if you want to do even semi-decent DPS with repeaters, you need a Mechanic build: free proficiency, INT bonus to dmg, ranged SAs if you know what you're doing. Check out the rogue forums.

However, strangely rams might increases the damage output....

Where repeaters do outshine bows is for on hit effect weapons (paralising, cursespewing, wounding, weakening etc). Due to the higher rate of fire and in some cases the better crit range. (Banishers, smitters, puncturing, enfeebling etc) Of course the bow is probably better when manyshot for the above though.
