Am I over pricing my sp pots?

I normally put my majors on the ah for 6k plat and they normally end up selling for more than that 8k 9k but lately over the last few weeks a lot have been comming back in the mail unsold, ive seen threads and posts where people thought that pot prices would actually go up not down due to the waves of exhaustion nerf. So has the demands for sp pots actually dropped and im over charging or is it something else?

It might be an issue of supply and demand.. Due to the recent DDO store sale on pots, this without doubt lessened the demand for the AH.

Unless your strapoped for plat, hold onto those pots for a little while. The demand for pots is sure to go up (as will the price you can get). Prices fluctuate, so maybe check the AH every other day to gauge the going rate, and sell accordingly.

I routinely list my Major Pots for 10k bid, 12k b/o and they are nearly always bought-out. So 6k is not overpriced. However, as others have said the current demand is low given the recent store sale.

Hang on to your majors until you get a stack of 100 easy 8k each on them usually sell for around 10k ish on AH but it would probably be a good idea if you had a guild to just save 100 of them up and sell them at a discounted price to the Cleric that you run with, and if you were to do that you would take a hard hit as Guild members should get a 50% discount

But yet again they are the ones who keep you up and running Flawless Victory!

You make your guildies pay for SP pots?
I give 2-6 away almost every raid when I'm on my melees....

I'd buy them all day long at 6K plat on Argo. I typically pick them up as low as 3K and will pay as much as 7K. I do rarely get to purchase in this preferred price range, but it does happen.

I haven't sold a single one ever, need them for myself, but 6k sounds a fair price. There's no need to start overcharging healers for keeping you alive. You should be paying them, not charging.

It might also be because you are not putting a buy out on them.

Pot's are purchased, most often, by people with too much money to care about. The fact that you are making them wait the whole time period to "win" the right to buy the pot might make people just filter out stuff without a buy out.

I know for myself, and a lot of people who buy pots in the AH, we just want satisfaction right now.

I would suggest putting them for 6k bid/12k B/O. That way you still get your bid, and you have now put it in the eyes of those that just want the friggin pot now.

If I am handing away 1,000,000 plat worth of them yes I would sell them. A few here and there is no problem for free but I was talking about a stack of 100.

And again Yea im guilded but I PUG more than I run with my guild.

The amount of people in this thread wlling to buy them at 6k each is a clear indicator that they're worth more than 6k.

I agree with this statement. Put a buy out on there and watch them go. If your used to selling them at 8 and 9 k then maybe put a 10k buy out to under price the competition.

I rarely take a look at item without a buyout, so I'd say that's 1 of the problem.
