DDO`s 2010 Best of the Best / Worst of the Worst

With the closing of the year.....

What do you think are DDO`s Best of the Best improvements to the game in 2010?

What do you think are the Worst of the Worst aspects not fixed or even made worse in 2010?

Best of the Best (for me):
1) Changes made to clerics (Radiant Servant I and Cleric Radiant Servent II). Its fun again to play a cleric. Yah, Ièm still a heal bot (to most), but at least the game has made it easy for me to do it. No more drinking mana pot after mana pot. And hey....its wasn`t that long ago that you couldn`t even buy mana pots because there was no DDO store.....but that`s another time and place now.

2) Archmage........don`t when that came in, but again....playing a Wizard seems interesting again. Not so long ago, because only certain spells were really useful, you might as well have played a sorc to get the maximum mana. Not so, now. Archmage....try it.

3) Mabar Event. Very very addictive. That epic cloak of the night......wow. Very nice stuff. That was fun. Can`t wait for holloween next year. Maybe you guys (Turbine) are gonna dream up to new items.

4) Ship Buffs. Very cool.


Worst of the Worst
1) Ranged Combat. Ouch. For a couple days there, there was a glitch with manyshots.......when you pressed it repeatedly, it would reset the cool down timer immediately (not that I ever tried it....never......no no.....its an exploit......never did that. Nope.). Well....anyways, for a couple days there, there seemed like there was hope for ranged combat. Well....false hope. Things came back to normal. Turbine....you gotta do something about ranged combat. Its really bad (boring, sad, etc).

2) Bank and money. Why oh why can I not put my gold in the bank? Isn`t that why banks are for? Why do I have to mail myself money? Why oh why?

3) Getting to my ship. Why can`t I get to my ship from Meridia. Is there a blockade going on that I am not aware of of Meridia?

Ok......feel free to add your own....I want to know your BOB and WOW this year please.....

I don't play clerics or arcanes, so can't comment.

Agree on both counts. Mabar could use some tweaking, but devs already acknowledged all constructive criticism.

I play an Arcane Archer, and I actually LIKE ranged combat as it is. It requires me to think, as opposed to being a mindless machinegun.

Well, you can't get onto ship at Necropolis either. Or at Reaver's Refuge. Or... Why single out Meridia?

Besides, is it that much of a hardship? I speak to the djinn, run down the ramp, featherfall down, then run to airship dock at Twelve. Takes about 30 seconds.

worst: no redesign of all epic immunities, no bank money, a tad too harsh TR xp grind imo.

Another Best of the Best would be.........the number of updates we had in 2010. I have no idea how many....but seems like every two months we had a major update!
