No Stealth, fought my way through everything but ignored side optionals. Cost me 2 SP pots, about 30 heal scrolls, 30+ displacement scrolls, blur-charges, and Yugo pots.

Lost money on the loot run but the screenshot is priceless

And congrats on soloing this on a Ranger. I run Sins of Attrition on Normal with my FvS whenever I need to feel good about myself after a tough run in another quest, but Elite on a Ranger is a whole different ballgame.

grats on solo elite, soloing normal would be a good way to farm devil keepsake, it's quick for casters, should take 6 to 8 min each run

78 - power-attack AC. I got missed a more than I get hit. it helped a great deal but I was far from invulnerable and I had to be careful pulling no more than 5 mobs at a time.

Yeah, I tried this once on my paladin tank and ended up getting destroyed in Saliga's room. I had less AC than you, I think, and lower DPS when close on AC. Been meaning to go back in a little better prepared.

Yeah, I tried this once on my paladin tank and ended up getting destroyed in Saliga's room. I had less AC than you, I think, and lower DPS when close on AC. Been meaning to go back in a little better prepared.

I drew the bearded devil in the dinning room, he was a pain in the nutz. I killed the trash and avoided him, on trash I had my +3 Vorpal Khopesh of PG and Lighting II Insight weapon in my off-hand. After the trash was dead, I re-displaced myself with a scroll and beat on the bearded devil until the displacement wore off. Healed, re-displaced . . . think I needed to do it twice and at once point my HP got pretty low. I'm going off memory because this was a few weeks ago.

Should probably pick up a vorpal for Ferrum at this point. That would help. Maybe Displacement scrolls, too, for bosses. Armor has Radiance Guard for everything else.

yea, seems whenever I go in there I get the red named beareded devil. He is a real pain.
But, if you can do that guy on elite solo, the rest of the dungeon is cake, if like you say, you try to get small groups and don't get crazy.

One method that really helps elite (or any diff really) is to invis up to a spawn and then back off...and slowly pull one or two at a time.

I did the end guy, the trog bard, without weakening him once on elite...lol...well, that was a mistake. I did not know he just kept summoning 3 orthons every 30 seconds or so. It was horrid.

Lastly, went in elite with some casters, thinking it would be a long boring run and then lo and behold....'wind elementals' + casters with high DCs = Knocked down and insta crit held mobs. That run was easier than norm.
