Big Top Problems

I am thinking some work still needs to be done here.

Ran a Big Top Today in House P.
Everyone except 1 person DC'd alt least 4 times each.
There is a trap box now blocked by an invisible wall - thats 1 box no one can disable.
End reward list had 4 items from the Kortho's island quest.- that will limit the Chain Quest item reward drops..

Holding my breath while I wait for the Bug report response comes......

End reward list has always been meh, but korthos weapons? Screenshot or it didnt happen...

And I might get neg repped for it but....bug report the trap box?

Not weapons, the set items fro Korthos like Devoted Heart, Anger's Step, etc. I've gotten them from that quest as well.

Same here both the necklaces that you get from MP and the other boots, gloves etc. I'll have to remember to take a screenshot next time that I run them for favor though.

well...at least you have an alternate source of those all-time bestest korthos gear!

Of course there would never be a bug if TOD rings and +4 tomes would drop in the big top end reward...the devs would patch that up a blink after the first big top was completed!

I could almost see the race now between us running it and them fixing it.

all 4 carnival quests seem to drop the misery peak end rewards at times.

And yesterday I just ran an epic big top without any problems - only at one point you can't jump over the fence anymore (which was so game breaking that you could do it... well, now you walk 5 more meters and go through the gate instead... same effect in the end)

No DC's, no rage quitters, no hard lag - just a smoothly pugged epic.

As far as the disconnects, i have not seen that happen personally. But I believe it is probably WAI that Korthos items were dropping. I know after update 7 they started dropping those set items as end rewards in Tide Turns, and it was stated they did so intentionally to provide an alternate source of those items. Maybe they did the same for Big Top.

I guess we all just don't realize yet how awesome it would be to have our toons geared out with every korthos set and the gem of many facets!

I got a bunch of those from the Sentinels chain dude too.

They were definitely in Sentinels before update 8 and I'm pretty sure they were in at least Partycrashers before too. Not sure if it was ever confirmed as WAI.

People that tend to crash when they enter Gianthold or the Sands explorer area also tend to crash when zoning into Big Top. It's probably due to the fairly large pre-loaded map.

The same things that help in dealing with crashes in large explorer areas help here.

The examples I've seen aren't when zoning in, they were mid-quest.
