    The difference is the extra wiz for the dc's in my thoughts. Both builds should have good AC and survivability. Would like to try out the Shintao III stuff. I am halfling now, and want to know if the human for the extra DC point is actually worth it? or should I stick to the Halfling and take the 40 DC (instead of 41 DC from human)

    A few thoughts:

    Why did you go for RotP? 6AP for Monk Improved Recovery III which qualifies you for Shintao II and you could use the leftover AP from not taking the RotP Prereqs to get Master Stances (as a thought). Also, all of the stat effects your prereq strikes can clear can be done with (low cost) pots. This would also free up Ki for those oh-so-yummy Shintao Strikes.

    Furthermore, a little bit of tweaking (swap one point of Wis for Con) at character creation would net you Earth Strike III (from Master Earth Stance) to help with DPS issues you may encounter.

    On your DT, you might want to consider swapping Wave Guard for Salt (since salt is irresistable).

    You are also missing bracers. Pick up a Henshin Necklace you can use to swap out on the fly for when you want to regen more ki (faster to swap than switching stances constantly). Madstone Boots would be sweet as a swap/perma item. Or maybe a sweet pair of (Epic) Kundarak Delving Boots.
