    Default bows/bowmen/ammo

i know there is already a bow thread but i went through five pages and couldnt find it.

it was suggested in there that if you put your quivers in the fast select slots you could change them from there. you cant.

i know i am probable being stupid but i am trying to run a ranger as a bowman only. yes he does have a back up weapon. but if you are supposed to be able to change quivers that way it needs to be fixed. if you arent supposed to be able to change quivers that way, you need to be able too.

How on earth would changing quivers help you without some way of also selecting the arrows you want to fire? Do you have quivers with only one stack of arrows in? Do you have some way to quickly empty your 'ammo' slot on the inventory sheet?

no and right now i only have one type of ammo. so at the moment that doesnt matter. and if you dont care which ammo. but i do see your point. but that would take up 3 or 4 of those little slots, unless the ready quiver gives a special ammo in bag slots where you can pick and choose said ammo at a point and click .

If you know a quest well enough to know what types of monsters are in it, and what types of arrows/bolts you want to use.

Take them out of your quivers before the dungeon, and lock them. Then drag the stack to a hot bar.

Also drag a stack of your regular ammo too to easily switch back.

i tried to put ammo in a quiver in a quick bar it didnt work. this ammo thing needs fixed. you should be able to quickly pick ammo without having to take said ammo out of a quiver taking up more space in your backpack.

as i have said, have a drop down bar when ever you hover over a quiver in a quick bar.

an archer should be able to pick an arrow by the way it is fletched, ie without looking at it.

the same way a blind person can pick out a bill as long as it is folded correctly.

It's fine to ask for a fix, but don't whine about it repeatedly, and don't say something "needs" fixed, unless it's truly destroying gameplay.

In the meantime, this guy's advice is golden. Use it.
