+1 W/P Longbow For Sale?

Recently I came across a +1 Wounding Longbow of Puncturing on a not so often played character. Are these worth anything now , or is vendor trash at this point?

If someone wants it...PM with an offer...I would hope it still has some inherent value...thanks in advance.

Due to the fact that not many people use ranged, even when WoP was king, bows were still pretty worthless. For comparison, I bought one for 100Kpp solely for the purpose of using it with ManyShot about 2 weeks after I sold a WoP shortsword for a double-shard Tier 3 shroud weapon (well, the ingredients to make it anyway).

So probably more of a novelty item now than really worth anything

I wouldn't vendor vendor it, but put it up for say 100k and see if you get any bites if not 60k. It still has use for a char with many shot at mid lvls

i picked up a WoP rapier from the AH for 300k pp. I figured why not just for nostalgias sake

I took the advice of you pleasant folks here and this is what I did.

I kindly posted on the trade channel I would trade the bow for 1 - #5 recipe. It was apparent to me they seemed to be going for around 75-100K so I thought it was fair.

A kind person, obviously pleased to acquire the bow, not only sent me recipe #5, but sent along a complete icy burst set as well..3,4,5 recipes and 300 motes.

What a nice gesture. I went ahead and mailed him off a GS rapier blank for there kindness.

Moral of the story...If you can pay it forward..do so! You never know what you might get!

I was the one that pointed out that the bow was far more rare than the #5's that were all over the server. I'm glad it worked out!

Yes I remember, I thank you for putting in your 2 cents in the harbor. Some people seem to want to get under your skin for no apparent reason.
