Most numbers on a crit for your Paladin, post here

Hi, fellow do-gooders!

Based a lot on Tamaisan's Monk Post from months ago now, I thought it'd be fun to see how long of a string we Paladins could accomplish on a critical hit.

I forgot Divine Sacrifice, but here's my submission. 14 Number string.



I know, not totally Uber numbers, but fun!

Thanks to my boy Julle for coming out and helping me with this. Maybe I'll go out and redo it with Divine Sacrifice, so we can see a 15 number string.

I don't get as many different numbers (my pally is not my main so doesn't have epic dragonscale and other goodies), but with my Silver Epic SoS I do smite for 800+ base damage, not counting glancing blow, KotC3, Lorinthors, and Weapons of Good. I will try to SS if anyone is interested.

Ironmaw the Abomination, WF 20pal on Orien. I will be TRing soon to Horc 18brb/2ftr, but I'm glad I got to use the eSoS as a bossbeater. So far I have only collected 1 Red Augment Crystal of Devil's Ruin for my next life.

• I don't wear Red Dragonscale. Epic Vambraces of Inner Life, as MyDDO states.
• That's not my weapon of choice.
• That's not a Smite, or a Divine Sacrifice. Just a normal crit hit.
• This wasn't a "Highest DPS" or "Biggest Smite" thread.

I just wanted to see how many different damage types I could hit something for at once, so I did. And it was funny, thought I'd share, and see if anyone could find some other creative ways to make a super-long string of numbers. If you wanna show of your smite? Sure, go ahead. Its all good fun for the sake of Paladin glorification.

What were you using all together there for that string of damage? I'm not sure how you got two cold damages, for instance. Mind posting the breakdown?

Well... I was hoping people would take the time to guess a bit more before just asking me for my work like some kind of Math teacher, but here goes.

Base weapon used : +1 Anarchic Burst Greataxe of Maiming, random pickup from the Auction House.

From the Leftmost, and heading right...

Weapon Base damage (+1 Greataxe)
Tharne's (Mob Blinded)
Force Critical (Stone of Change)
Icy Burst (Risia)
Maiming (Originally on weapon)
Anarchic Burst (Originally on weapon)
Oil of Incandescence light damage (Mabar)
Frost (Same Risia effect)
Anarchic (Originally on weapon)
Charged Gauntlets on a 20 (Chronoscope)
Greater Evil Outsider Bane (KotC PrE)
Evil Outsider Bane (KotC Set Bonus)
Weapons of Good Light damage
Weapons of Good Holy damage

And again, didn't use Divine Sacrifice. If I'd thought to at the time, there's be one more addition to the string for that.

I.. don't think so. That +2 to damage is calculated into your weapon damage (Like instead of 1d12 + 40, it would be something like 1d12 + 42 or whatever).
