    Default The Caster's Melee: TR'd 12Ranger/7Fighter/1Bard

Build: TR'd 12Ranger/7Fighter/1Bard Tempest II/Kensai I Half-Elf Khopesh user with Rogue Past life

Highlights: Evasion, 3d6+10 SA Damage, UMD, fascinate, solid dps

The idea behind this build is that I almost always play arecanes and divines. While playing melees I miss the ability to self buff, heal, and use scrolls like fire shield, GH, invisibiltiy, etc. Even when playing my rogue, I am constantly using umd for all sorts of scrolls and wands. With that in mind I wanted to create a build that could do real dps while at the same time having some innate spell casting ability with umd for scrolls. I have a rogue that was one of my abandoned melees, so I have started leveling it to TR into this build. She's lvl 14 now, so I'll be rolling this toon in the next week or so.

This girl will use dual GS Khopeshes, I was thinking 1 radiance and 1 lightning, and maybe a min II combined with the lightning for boss fights if I get enough larges. She will have 3d6 + 10 SA damage, along with the ability to fascinate mobs in epic content. I didn't bother with the skill points in the planner, but she will have max ranks in perform and UMD, and then some points in diplomacy, hide, move silently, balance, and tumble.

Because the planner doesn't have the new half elf dilettante enhancements in it, I didn't do the enhancements. But the highlights are: +2d6 (in addition to 1d6 from feat) sneak attack damage, Kensai I, Tempest II, fighter haste boost III.

So, without further ado, here she is:

    Default Feat Choice

Some of the feats I've selected I'm unsure of.
I'm not sure about taking the two favored enemies I took first: construct and elemental. I'm also unsure of whether I will need otwf. It seems like in most places in the game my to hit is going to be high enough, and if it isn't I could put a dagger in my left hand. The downside to that of course is that I would be removing a gs khopesh for whatever dagger I happened to find.

Yeah I was wondering if Otwf was a wasted feat.

I was also thinking of taking empower healing, and besides buffs just using spell points for an emergency heal when there was no time for a scroll. But I am reluctant to take something that won't increase my dps at all. Any suggestions for other feats?

    Thanks

    Xexa
