    Default Retracting LFM applications.

So I click on an LFM that was looking for more members.

    5 minutes pass... no response.

So I go off and solo some quests while waiting for other LFMs to show up that interest me.

Another 5 minutes pass, and then suddenly *ding* I'm in a party. I was like, "What the hell?"

Now, I couldn't even drop group because I was in the middle of a quest, and they couldn't dismiss me because I was in the middle of a quest.

Please give us the ability to retract our LFM applications, or make them expire after a short amount of time, in the same way that party invites expire.

And also for the lfms you clicked but didn't mean to. Because the list moved.

That happens, and is very annoying. Much needed feature.

Although I could imagine being it being annoying on the other hand. Like double click an lfm and then decline yourself. Rinse and repeat. New type of griefing?

(I like the time expiring idea better)

I Imagine it would be simpler to make them time out like standard (in person) party requests.
The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

    /agree and /signed and /high five.

The number of times I have waited for an LFM response (2+ min), seen another group that is looking for a different character class and decided to switch and been accepted just as I was starting to DC so I could log on my different toon is fairly high.

It's not something I can't deal with, but it would have been a better experience if my join request had timed out, and I would simply know to look elsewhere/etc.

Further...most Party leaders do not want to use the decline button, so even if they are not interested in you they will simply wait until the party is full and you are auto-declined.

A two min. time out would be a boon to the game.
