    Default "Waves" goodbye to ToD

"■Ray of Fatigue, Waves of Fatigue and the Waves of Exhaustion speed effect will now bounce off of raid bosses."

Unless you have a pair or trio of Clerics willing to suck down 10-20 mana pots per run you'll be hard pressed to finish this raid.

Thanks Turbine... We greatly appreciate your attention on this one or was it attention to more profits in the DDO store? There was no need for this nerf.

Q&A is the business of pointing out others' failures. Optimists need not apply.

I'm starting to doubt my sanity - I keep hearing that Turbine has nerfed/fixed the Waves+Tendon Slice effect, but then I see people using it the next day.

For crying out loud - either fix it or don't, but stop with the tease!

Good thing the Turbine staff keeps failing their bluff check, eh?

We never used pots back when waves didn't work. Just have to take an optimal party now. Get 2 healers for party, a caster that can flesh to stone the orthons, someone to kite or tank sulo and someone to heal that guy and your set. Cloudkill still provides concealment to melees and saves healer mana. Healers may have to go back to rotating mass heals now. But so long as you have a good tank and everyone else stay on Horoth's backside it shouldn't get to hectic.

    No, sorry.

I healed an Elite run of ToD a couple weeks back where we realised that our arcane had forgotten to exhaust both Horoth AND Suulomades.

This was after Suuly was already dead, and Horoth was at 5%. Basically, we did the whole raid with neither major boss exhausted.

    And no one died.

If they really did fix it this time, it won't be the end of the world.

While I am also unhappy about this nerf, which further reduces the utility of arcane casters in endgame raids, you're exaggerating a tad here.

It's not needed, no. It's still ******** though that every boss is immune to pretty much any form of debuffing in the game. With nuking being a lol form of dps, casters are fairly useless in almost all instances except for haste, rage, and mass hold monster. This makes the game one dimensional. Mobs need to follow the same rules as players, no exceptions.

Yeah. Doesn't work. Tried in vod as well against suulo and he was immune.

Well, that frees up a spell slot. No reason to carry waves anymore.

I tried it couple hours ago in shroud hard(didn't work) but after that worked against Horoth, Jailer and Judge in tod normal. At least I didn't get immune message and could see it in examine. Not sure what this bouncing even means what release notes talks about. Really need to get some rest already.
