    Default cookie jar oversight?

    as the title says...
cookie jars are bound to character. why not account bound like all the other bags, to be able to be passed along to new lowbies and such? especially for 495 tp's.
just makes no sense i can pass bags of collectables and shroud ingredients around between my 12 toons, but not cookies. and the price is a little steep, especially if you figure players having multiple toons.
other than that, i like the idea and the looks of them. wish they held twigs, coal, and sunflasks, but thats minor as opposed to the inventory space being saved. hopefully soon the bags get changed to BtA, and was an oversight

All those containers are BtC. There was a short window when the first ones came out where they were flagged as BtA (which is when I assume you got yours), and if you bought them then they have remained BtA for you, but new ones are all BtC now.

I don't really see much point in them since you still have to take out the cookie to use it.

It is a OK place to keep the buff cookies but if you are going to use something like the one that gives comet fall then you will have that out and hot bared.

Same with the one that gives profane bonus and psionic bonus since those are both short duration cookies.

If you could use the cookie directly from inside without taking it out I'd definately get one. Since you can't, it isn't worth it.

With them being BTC and at that cost, no way I'll buy one. I'd rather buy an extra character slot and use as a bank.

The “Justification” for making the containers BtC was that there is a bug where an item placed in a container and then placed in the shared bank would go *poof*. (Tolero posted it using the example of putting a bag of holding inside another bag of holding.)
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

So, what kind of items we can safely put in a container, and then store on a shared bank?

Nothing that you really care about.

I've heard of the bug with ingredients disappearing from the bag when placed in the shared bank. Never experienced it myself but I don't take chances like that anyway.

    There’s a reason I used quotations.
