    Default TR decisions

    I have been toying with tr'ing my flagship character, Thudul for the last few months. I just CANNOT decide on the build that i want. I was origanly going to go with the canopener build. Then Bacab got me farming DQ with him, and we pulled a torc. Since Bacab already had a torc, i took it, and figured id tr him as a pali. Well, as much fun as a pali would be, i capped my wf fvs melee build, and found out how much fun HE is...

    Being that Thud is my flagship, I have been torn into tr'ing him into a fvs now, since he has the torc and would be able to put it to better use as a fvs then a pali. My main concern is....on Thud i have a min2 greataxe, and a lighting strike falchion. Are those going to go to waste on a fvs, or will i still be able to use them, and just suck up the -4 to hit. (not really sure i want to blow a feat on mart. weapons).

    I know what your thinking though, why have 2 wf melee fvs? get some originality. Well, depending on how Thud's tr goes, how much of a pita i find it, I may end up tr'ing Nacan into the wf pali, either prolly the pure ultamega build.

    Reasons for going fvs on thud vs pali.

    1. self sufficiency (most important to me, i feel like a drain on his barb self.....)
    2. buff spells (would divine favor + divine power essentually cancel the -4 attack penalty?)
    3. healers ALWAYS get into quests (melee = dime a dozen)
    4. WINGS!!!!! (Should be number 1)
    5. DR/15, free 40 minute shield (20 if i dont take extend....)

    I'd go Wizard17/Rogue2/warrior1 (or Wiz18/Rog2 or even Wiz18/Monk2) or Sorc18/Pal2/Rogue2 (/monk2). Battle Mage, Spellsword. Warforged (doh).

    Reasons for going "arcane" vs FvS:
    - you have FvS
    - arcane is different.
    - can selfrepair as good as FvS can heal.
    - better nuking, CC.
    - can fight as good as FvS. Just hit DP clickie
    - has must-have buffs for efective melee (Haste, Rage). Good melee protection with Displacement, Stoneskin.
    - just as good, sometimes better, sometimes worse. The key is 'different'?

    About that 'better nuke ...'. Both divine and arcane have spells. But arcanes in general get 'more'.

    Default Tukaw ftw!

    Try the tukaw build! since u already have a torc which makes u a half-god, all u still need is docent of defiance, a conc opp item & gs greataxe

    Default no arcane

    Ive seen and heard about the takaw build, and the wiz/rog/fighter (barb) builds. Thing is....I dont want arcane. Ive tried lvl'ng arcanes before. Melee specc'd CC spec'd, nuker....arcanes are just no fun to me. Fvs is the only blue bar job ive ever liked. Well, pali is fun too, but dont really consider them a blue bar job....

    Besides. Fvs has wings. Arcane doesnt.

    With the torc/con-op or 2, I will have unlimited mana on my fvs as well, resulting in unlimited health....

    Oh. Did i meantion the wings?
