Enhancement planner

Nice program, I like it. I'd love to have something in the planner like this myself, but I don't want to feel like we are competing. If you ever decide you are tired of it and no longer want to update it, send me the scripts so I can translate them into C++ for the planner. I'm fairly fluent in php/java (although they aren't my first language), so no worries there.

In the meantime, keep up the good work. That's really good stuff. If I see any bugs, I'll be sure to report them.

I don't think you'd be competing with him anyways. I was actually thinking of writing the same thing simply because yours is an installed program and this one is web-based. I'd rather used the installed program when possible but there are times where you just want to mess with enhancements to kill some time and you're not at a computer. This is great for that.

Also, you could probably use it from the in-game browser as well which would be very handy.

Great planner, I really like it.

One issue I came across are the Half-Elf Dilettante Enhancements.
At the moment it allows you to have more than one Dilettante Feat, which is not possible.
Therefore if you choose "Half-Elf Cleric Wisdom I", enhancements like "Half-Elf Improved Recovery I"(belongs to Monk Dilettante) should become unavailable (crossed).

Currently planner knows nothing about feats and their mutual exclusion rules. And I'd rather keep it simple for now.

Simply one of the best character planning things I've ever seen!

Very similar to how I plan a build's enhancements..
Except yours does all the hard work!

LOVE the "Never" Column.

LOVE the export to text.

LOVE how when you want to add in a top tier effect, it fills in all the enhancements for you automagically!!

LOVE the "respec at lvl..." button.

LOVE how it lists the feats and requirements clearly so you don't forget to take them at the right levels.

+1 to you, OP. And a dozen more if I had them.


Seriously.. Coolest tool I've seen yet. Right up there with the perfectweb planners and Ron's.
(Who, by the way, should REALLY try to see if this can be added in to the planner.)

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not, I did not read all 4 pages of stuff, but I was planning out a human full 20 favored soul today, and none of the skill + enhancements (concentration, balance, etc....) were there for selection at all. I am referring only to the basic skill enhancements, the racial ones and class ones were there (i.e. Orien balance or what have you). I was using the most recent version of firefox, and it happened a couple times over last 2 days, took me a bit to figure out what was going on.

Sorry if this is a repeat.

By the way, this is an excellent planner, keep up the good work.

Just updated the planner to match Ron's 03.14.02 build. It now supports the new Druid class and includes AP cost corrections mentioned here.

Also fixed a bug related to Favored Souls: skill enhancements now show correctly.

Could you make a seperate one to handle the new enhacements being tested? If you get on it now, people can get a chance to iron out both on and off lamannia, and it would make the transition for the tool when the new system comes out. Also can you add Epic Destinies?

I know you mention utilizing rons data files, but those are mainly deliminated text files.
