So I want to make a handwrap melee build. The problem is, I don't really like quantity of the monk clickies so I'm looking at some combination of classes/race that'll give good damage, possibly utility and only 1 or 2 lvls of monk.
I like Kensei for the passive bonuses.
I like Tempest for the proc and ranger utility
I'm not sure on any of the other PRe
There seem to be a ton of different 12/6/2 type builds out there and starting with one and then changing doesn't seem to get a lot of feedback so I thought I'd start a bit more general and hope to get some feedback in terms of opinion/damage numbers.
12F/6Ro/2Mo - Kensei II, Rogue PRe I (doesn't impress), extra monk feat, evasion, lots of rogue skills, lots of fighter feats/hp
12Ra/6Ro/2Mo - Tempest II (how well does it really mesh with handwraps?), rest of above plus free TWF feats
18Fi/1Ro/1Mo - Kensei III, monk feat, no evasion, lotta feats, skill starved
12Fi/5Ro/3Mo - Kensei II, most rogue skills (a bit short), light/dark fists
12Fi/7Ro/1Mo - above plus 1dSA, -monk feat/meditation - Kind of leaning here
18Ra/1Ro/1Mo - Tempest III, lots of ranger benefits, some/most rogue skills
Race: (in order of initial preference)
Dwarf - More HP, some nice passives, good enhancements
Human - adaptability, versatility, healing amp, extra feat
Halfling - great SA synergy, some nice passives
Elf - -2 CON is bad, but some mediocre passives, Mark feats seem worth it/displacement
Half Elf - dilettante feat gives 100% wand usage?
WF - good HP, nice passives, good enhancements (not a big fan)
Half orc/Drow - not a great fit IMO
I like rogue utility/SA damage
Damage is key
HP are good
AC I'm unsure of
I like stuns/trips
I like not being a healing drain (amp)
I like skill points
I like passive skills
Not a fan of a lot of clickies (stun, trip, haste are good)
VIP w/32 pt builds, nothing to TR at this point, will use +2 tome on all at lvl 7.
Most of my builds I've been going 16/15/16/14/10/8.
Any critiques, opinions or thoughts appreciated.
