Default Guild Only of One's Chars?

Feels a little odd to post in this forum, since my question kind of goes against the spirit of guild recruitment, but anyways...

Is it possible to create a guild consisting only of one's own chars on a server? I don't want to pay the TP for a charter unless I can do this. How would I invite them, since obviously, I can't be logged on as more than one of my characters at a time?

I am only F2P and I've never been part of a guild, so I don't know the mechanics of guild building.

    Thanks,
    Ngo

You need to be guild level 5 to do so nowadays.

And if you are f2p, you would either need to buy a charter, or perhaps convince a vip to make a guild for you, invite all your toons, and then appoint you leader/successor and quit/get booted by you.

yes yo ucan but until you reach guild level 5 you cant create sigils to mail to your alts (do you need a ship also to do this???)

But here's an even easier way, sort of.... but it requires either 2 computers or the ability to duel box. Or a friend.

Step 1: Create a second F2P account and create a new alt. Consider this a mule for future loot.
Step 2: Log into your main account that has your exclusive guild. Log into your guild leader.
Step 3: Log into the second F2P account and load up that new alt.
Step 4: Have your main account guild leader invite the second account alt. to join your guild.
Step 5: Have their leader promote this new alt to a leader of the guild (maybe even the successor).
Step 6: log of your main alt, log in any other alt on main account (while still logged in on second account.
Step 7: Have the newly minted officer on the second account invite the alt on the main account.

I do while dual boxing (on one PC) which you can learn how to do here Dual Boxing on same PC. Specifically look at post 6 as this is the method I use.

If you have access to two PC's near each other then this would be easier as well.

I think that's it...that's how I do it/did it on my personal guild. I only use this guild for my mules and haggle bard but what the heck. It does nothing for me, but I like it

Just take your toon through the harbor quests and you'll get renown very fast from the small guild bonus and unlock the mail invites.

Far, far too simple of a solution..... I like things complicated

    Default Guild renown

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I don't have two PCs, so looks like I'll be trying for guild renown (sounds a bit easier, anyways).

How does guild renown work? Will I get it for running quests that I've already gotten all the favor on (and that I'm way over level for)?

    Thanks,
    Ngo

It is possible yes. That is what I am doing on all but one of my characters (one character is in a larger guild, Shadowblade Assassins). I even made a thread not too long ago if this is feasible or not.

Also, don't make your target guild level 100, go for 62. 62 will get you everything you need minus crafting alters and the highest exp shrines.

You do need to be guild level 5 before you can mail yourself invites, so what I did was that I went to Korthos Island, and paid a newbie 2,000 plat for his time and help in recruiting my other characters (I made him an officer and then logged in all my alts).

So far it is going very well, in just under a week I am already guild level 10, and it's fun to see the high numbers you get from small guild renown bonus.

One other thing, you might want to make 5 other free-to-play accounts and have them join the guild. For some reason, that is when the small guild bonus is highest.

    Accounts in Guild/Renown Bonus
    1/150%
    2/180%
    3/210%
    4/240%
    5/270%
    6/300%
    6 300%

    Default Personal characters only guild

I've got one , and in all honesty - the only time it hurts is when a "guild" type adventure is posted ya'd like to join.

I've gotten my personal characters guild to fifteen alone - and some friends do park toons in it if they want a place to keep thier unguildeds , but for the most part, ya only want to do this if airship use is of no importantance

I have a guild like this on Cannith. I do eventually plan to open the doors to others but as of now I'm still learning and building the guild level for the future.
