Advice?

I built my WF Wizard before wiz has PREs, and have been following a 2Rog/18Wiz build.

Currently I'm at 2R/13W, and was wondering about the differences between staying with this build and just feat and enhancement retraining into AM, or LRing into pure Wizard AM.

Main things I would lose by LRing would be stealth, evasion and the trap skills. However, I would get more spells and SP.

Either way, I want to respec into AM. Staying with the current build I would need 2 feats and enhancements retrained.

Any thoughts?

Ok, now that I have that out of my system, it may be helpful to those able to give advice to know more details about current build, ie stats, feats, current enhancements.

I did a GR on my WF 18/2 wiz/rogue at level 20 once the AM PrE came out. I had attempted running epics/amrath as a wiz/rogue and it really wasnt working for me. The evasion is very nice and I do miss it at times such as when doing DQ2 and those BB's pop up, but being able to mass hold and hypno epic mobs makes up for it. Personally I wouldnt GR until 20th. Evasion plus trapmonkey skills are very handy until you hit amrath/epics.

It's not an either/or situation - you can have evasion and be able to mass hold, etc...

Op, I'd recommend staying the course, save any +3 tome you acquire, then TR a few times. Getting your spell pen feats for free is very liberating!

Thanks for the advice. I've been waffling back and forth on which route to take... but with the advice here I think I'll stick with rog/wiz til 20 and then GR to pure wiz when I get into epix.
