If on Vista / Win7 (I forget the location for XP), navigate to (you'll need to View Hidden Files and Folders):
c:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Turbine\Dungeons and Dragons Online\Launcher\
and find the file LauncherUserSettings.xml
<WARNING WARNING WARNING>
Modifying this file *could* render DDO unplayable. Make SURE to make a backup of this file BEFORE changing it.
Open this file using notepad (or whatever). You're looking for a data block that looks like this (replacing somenamehere with the username you're looking for:
You'll find one of these data blocks for each person that's signed on your computer. Remove the block (suggested not to remove your name), being careful not to delete the </Users> line.Code:<User Username="somenamehere" MostRecentNewsDateTime="0"> <LegalFileDateTimes /> <Subscriptions Default="hqmzm37mnfpth9mm233zmz7kd"> <Subscription Name="hqmzm37mnfpth9mm233zmz7kd"> <Worlds Default="Sarlona"> <World Name="Sarlona" LastUsedDateTime="633969403132904000" /> </Worlds> </Subscription> </Subscriptions> </User>
Save the file and relaunch the game.

It occurs to me that the dice are being rolled by the same computer that's trying to kill me. It knows all the moves - it's just toying with me.
My apologies for necro-ing a very old thread, but as it ranks high on Google searches for this topic, it's probably an appropriate place to put stuff for other future Googlers.
Where is the equivalent file located on a Mac?
So, I don't use/have the Mac Client for DDO, but I did tech support for Apple for a few years, and if Turbine is putting things in the traditional/expected locations there should be a Turbine folder inside of "/Users/<your account name>/Library/", that would be my best guess (and a good place to start, if nothing else).
On a side note to any Googlers who find this thread, it seems that at some point something changed, as the above directions for the Windows client no longer seem to have any effect at all.
Yeah, I dug all around the ~/Library directory, including in several sub-apps (like the DDOLauncher) but didn't find anything equivalent.
