warning about the worst glitch in DDO history

I already reported this one but I wanted to warn people because this is seriously the worst thing that could ever possibly happen to you in DDO. I don't care what other glitches there were over the years, this one takes the cake.

So let's say you're in the ADQ preraid on epic. You open a chest for precisely the 7th time in your ransack countdown and TADA, you get a really awesome seal. Let's say you want to transfer it to someone or you even just simply click off the chest by accident, that's fine, right? NOPE. Click back on the chest and it gives you the ransack warning even though it's not loot #8 yet. Guess what happened to your seal? It's gone! GONE! Goodbye. I lost a VERY powerful and sought after (but luckily not useful to my class) seal that way just now and if it was the seal of ring of spell storing, I'd have smashed my entire computer already. So apparently on run #7 you'll get ransack and get your seals deleted from the chest if you click on a chest, close the window, then re-open it.

Let me put it this way. If you just popped up a chest window with a seal of the ring of spell storing and accidentally clicked off it and it was ransack #7 so the fake ransack warning somehow deleted it, that's worse than a glitch that deletes your entire character because that seal is worth more than most people's entire characters. So instead of just saying "you're wrong" how about you provide an example of an actual glitch that actually happened that's worse than one that deletes rare seals? Do you even have a lvl 20 character? Do you even do epics?

Just off the top of my head the bank glitch that was deleting *stacks* of larges when people would go to TR - that was pretty nasty.

And while I know some people were upset and disappointed with it - I don't recall people getting as upset as you are right now.

In the end (and this isn't trite - it's just good advice) - if the *game* makes you that upset - walk away - take a break - come back and play when you have *fun* playing.

Do I have a L20 character? lol. I've got multiple 20s, multiple TRs, and yes I've run epics.

And no one seal is worth more than your entire character unless your entire character is poorly equipped.

My first choice for something more serious this week alone would be:

Even just considering the scales lost, that's worth more than any seal.

And there have been bugs that make that one look minor.

That's not even close to the worst glitch ever. My 20th shroud, and guess what happens? +3 STR tome. Hello! I'm a sorceror, not a mefindtrapwithface barbarian! Unbelievable glitch. The game obviously knows I am a sorceror, yet still gives me a str tome! I submitted a bug report but I didn't even get a response from Turbine! Glitchy von Bugginesstein followed by horrible customer service to top it off! I was so angry I went to my neighbor's house and urinated in their pool! Aaargh I am so angry that now I could actually use a str tome! So I used it and now I'm sitting at 13 without items! I'm gonna grab a Carnifex and slowly kill me some kobolds in WW until I calm down! Aaargh!

I love it how people who have played for less than a year seem to know everything that could have EVAH happened in the game. It just amazes me how full of themselves they are.

Seals are nice, but decently easy to get. No 1 seal, not even 10 seals are worth a decent character.

Plus, Epic Ring of Spell storing is nice, but it's the same as 3 Major Pots, not truly that big of a deal, even though it does recharge.

I'd definitely put the Abbott glitch ahead of this one.

Glitch that takes my cake is the Mail Glitch that would randomly delete things that you mailed to another character, back before F2P and the Shared Bank, but you wouldn't know about that one.

Does anyone remember the time(s) were random stuck stops would appear out of no where. You would be walking along minding your own business and bam you are floating inch off the ground unable to move for god knows how long. My friends and I called them temporal rifts.

I spent hours one day floating over the bar in the lobster slightly to the left of the barkeep with about 5 random strangers. We grouped up and had conversation while waiting or a GM to come un-sick us. I don't think he ever did come by. I logged out before he showed up. I don't think I ever logged back into that particular character he might still be floating over the bar in the lobster.
