Advice for DT Armor

I'm trying to figure out dt for my evasion fighter.
It looks like the leather gives an armor bonus of plus 8 and a max dex bonus of 7. (And it's the only light armor)
My current armor bonus with dex wearing a mithral breastplate is 15 (+10 and +5 dex bonus)
My current dex is 19 (+4) and I'm not wearing a dex item.
How much ac am I going to lose? If I add plus 6 dex to my armor - will it help?

What is your current AC? It is probably so low that it doesn't matter one lick whether it drops by 2 or 20. That is the unfortunate truth about AC at high levels.

Yeah, unless you 70/75+ AC (or can get to it), it really doesn't matter, being evasion, I'd go for +5 resistance, +1 Exp Dex, then pick a sovereign rune.

Thanks for the help. My ac is 31 unbuffed so no where close to 75+. The +1 dex exp will give me an extra point of dex right?

Yes it does give you one point extra. just remember a few things about that:

Orly even stat number change anything, +3 tomes are pretty easy to get from 20/40/60 shroud completions and I have been pulling them like crazy from Reaver raid chests (note: it took 3+ yrs for that too happen and it's been 3 in the last month). +4 come out of ToD runs and it's 20/40/60 completions but there are better things to pick up on those completions (rings). So just whatever you do, try to have it end up even eventually.
