    Default Warforged rogue

I've never seen one. Plenty of halflings (which seem to be the ideal race due to guile/cunning), humans, dwarves, and discussion of half-orcs, although they've seemed to largely fall out of favor (or, at least, off the top of the list in terms of discussion time) after the initial rush.

Is there some reason for a lack of warforged rogues, beyond flavor, at least? They seem to be better set up for a pure rogue build than the more common dwarves.

Look harder, you'll see them once in while (I have one ).

I really can't say why people don't like them, they are not as optimal as haflings are, but they make up for the lack of sinergy in other areas (immunities, HP, some nice specialized docents etc.).

I have no problems with WF except that there is a lack of classes who can repair them. Rogue being naturally low HP makes this harder. A rogue mech would be perfect but the repair skill in the Mech line is not up to cleric type heals to make it worth taking. And also lack of repair spell in hireling casters that can help with repairs. So just waiting for the luck to turn for the WF repairs. Maybe one day this will change.

You can go one level of rogue and the rest wizard for repair abilities. There is some good builds for this.

    Maybe something like this

Or just can go non rogue, pure wiz Shadow Mage wf. It looks like a pretty good build:

Was looking at WF rogue but you seem to lose more than you gain.

Might work if you had gear already prepositioned and finances to keep it stocked with needed potions.

Something that could benefit from the PA enhancements similar to how halflings benefit from guile might work.

Really never worked it out though.

I think halfling is such a good choice, particularly for assassin builds, that people don't really try very hard to find something else.

I have a level 10 WF rogue mechanic and I think he rocks. His +2 Con is more valuable to rogues than most people think and built-in immunities allows you to focus on more interesting equipment. UMD is just as useful casting repair as it is casting heal.

The +2 Con at level 20 gives you 20 extra hitpoints. Yay.

You are correct. UMD is awesome.

I have a WF rogue currently at level 16. Ultimately will be a 13 Rogue/6 Ranger/1 Fighter Ravager build dual-wielding Khopeshes.

I personally love it. The immunities are handy, the extra HP is excellent on a lower hit die character, and I honestly haven't had many problems with getting healed. When I start raiding, I imagine I'll probably be fine regarding heals just because it seems like most healers err on the side of caution by overhealing a bit.

Max HP will top out at a little over 500, more if Madstoned. Just make sure to slot healing amp somewhere and you should be golden.

I've seen a few and have one myself, currently Rogue 10/Monk 5/ Fighter 1. Warforged have good synergy with the Acrobat and Mechanic lines and the immunities and extra Con and Toughness enhancements are really nice on a class that's pretty constrained on body slots and hp.

That shouldn't be too much of an issue (there's actually more classes that can heal them). Aside from that, IMX on both ends rogues get over-healed a lot anyway.

I got a WF Rogue, lvl 6 right now. I just thought it very thematic... WF Mechanic, machine being mechanical.

And he used to just melee with a heavy mace, but recently i got him a repeater light crossbow and i love it.

+2 Con Starting +2 Con Enhancement +4 Ranks of Racial Toughness at 20 gives you 80 extra hitpoints....Yay..

Add in the Docent from Mindsunder for another 20 hp and you have 100hp over the squisy meatbags.
