I'd have actually bought a huge ingredient bag if it sorted like the collectable one. Then I wouldnt need 10 large ing bags on star (one for vale stuff and greensteel materials, one for shroud ingredients, one for IQ + Dreaming dark, one for winter recipes, one for rogue trap things, etc)

You could also do the categories by what primary alter/device you need to put them in.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

I use five ingredients bags at the moment (one for scrolls, one for seals, one for shards, one for unbound non-epic ingredients, one for bound ones). Even then I feel like I need one more bag as the bag with all the Shroud ingredients, Vale ingredients, Boots of Anchoring mats, guild augment crystals, Winter/Night motes, Risia recipies and so on gets overcrowded, as does the epic seal bag.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Hell, I'd be happy with an ingredients bag that you can organize from within itself instead of having to take a bunch of things back out only to put them back inside the bag.

    I'm kinda OCD about that.

Not a solution but a suggestion. Open the bag, and eject all the small ingredients, then gather them all back up. They all appear at the bottom. Do the same for medium and large.

Appreciate this is not ideal but it does keep all small/medium/large in one place (albeit temporarily).

(Unfortunately there is what I consider a bug. Maximum holdings in bags dont match your inventory. So if you eject 150 high powered cells, only 100 actually get ejected. The other 50 stay there. SO you sometimes need to do those sorts of items more than once)

This is a capital suggestion, my friend. I've been so annoyed at the random assortment for ingredient bags. It makes me think the devs never thought we would use the **** things.

    REQUEST APPROVED!

*Tosses everyone a huge, shiny, customizable ingredient bag*

    Seriously... I want it too!

As a horder of things, I find it quite time consuming to sort/re-sort just to have an idea of where things are.

Also, it would be nice to have a toggle on how you would like stuff sorted. For example, sometimes I like having my Epic ingredients sorted by what they make (Marilith Chain scroll, seal, and shard together) and other times I like them sorted by type of ingredient (scrolls together, seals together, shard together).

God, yes! Even THAT would be an enormous improvement!

And probably easier to code than separating them by adventure pack, since many ingredients come from more than one pack, like Larges (Vale and Devil Assault), or not from any pack at all -- Motes of Night and Motes of Winter.

I very much like this idea.

I'm okay with the "sorting" that I have available on my current ingredient bags - where I pull out all my large shroud ingredients and hit "gather" and then pull out all of my medium ingredients and hit "gather" etc...

The OP's suggestion is a MUCH better way to do it, though. I'd actually buy a DDO Store Huge ingredient bag if this feature was added since I currently keep Vale ingredients and small shroud ingredients in my Small bag while I keep DT Runes and Medium Shroud ingredients in my Medium bag and I keep everything else in my Large bag.

Please Please Please: I probably spend an hour a week, emptying out ingreds bags and gathering ingredients into groups, this would be fantastic (if the eldritch device could use them straight from the bag even better).
