    Default ToD rings

I made a little mistake on my ring, instead of putting WIS+2 excep, i put CON+2(which is not useless), but i would like to know if its possible to revert the craft, or exchange the bonus

    Thanks all

    Wink Questions

This looks like a good place to ask my questions. They do have something to do with crafting. Sort-of.

    1) At ddowiki, what does the "20%" mean when referring to negative energy absorption on crafting an "Incredible Potential" item?

    2) This question can go under a thread intitled: "Epic Items" / but unfortunately I can't find a thread that begins with that. My guild leader tested the Spectral Gloves in the Orchard with a Longbow and they did indeed work against his miss chance vs. incorpreals. Was this intentional? Reviewing the gloves at ddowiki it saids that only melee attacks will bypass a miss chance to hit incorpreals. Doesn't say anything about Ranged or Thrown attacks. I tested the Cloak of Night myself and it does indeed bypass the miss chance I would have against incorpreals. Can anyone confirm this on those gloves?

    3) At ddowiki, under the Blue Augment slot about "toughness" it says that it is similiar to Minos Legens but says that it does not stack. Why would it only stack on Mino Legens but not on an item with a Blue Augment slot?

    4) At ddowiki, under the Blue Augment slot, what does "+2 max dex" mean? Does it mean that a +2 is added to your maximum dexterity bonus to ac? Does it mean that a +2 maximum is being added to your Dexterity? Does it stack with all other Dexterity bonuses?

Thank you for your time and help.

Hmmm sorry about that. Guess this post should have gone back one thread. lol. Thought I was putting it under "Crafting Discussion" not under "ToD rings". My bad. sorry.

It means that if you're hit with a negative energy effect, such as the Harm spell, 20% of it will be "absorbed", and you will not take that damage. So a 150 point harm will only hit you for 120 points of damage.

Probably not intentional, but they won't ever get around to changing it. Unless its found to be game-breaking, or helps Player Characters. If so, its in Update 8. /sarcasm.

The Wiki is trying to say that
Minos Toughness + Blue Slot Toughness do not stack.
Minos Toughness and the Feat : Toughness stack
Blue Slot Toughness and the Feat : Toughness stack.

+2 to the Armor's Max Dex Bonus. I don't know if it will work if its not applied to an armor, but an accessory instead.

    Rings are Bound, and Exclusive.

Bank the ring while doing ToD. Next time you pull it from the chest, you can craft what you meant to craft, and you'll have both. And *maybe* they'll add ToD Ring decrafting in the future. We can hope.

Thank you "TheDearLeader" very much appreciated.

    One more question please:

Im assuming that Gilvaenor's (AA set) does not stack with the Alacrity Quiver. Correct?

I don't play a ranger to know enough about Ranged Alacrity bonuses. That's why I didn't answer to that question on the Wiki, either.

Or destroy the one you are wearing, then loot the new one, then bank the new one, then go to a vendor and use the 'Buy Back' function to get your old ring back (for a small fee in platinum).

Needing to do anti-social things like this if you make a mistake or if you obtain new gear that obsoletes old ring enhancements is exactly why TOD ring de-crafting should be implemented.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

No, wear the ring during the run and when you finally get the ring you need a copy of, destroy the one you're wearing, place your new one in the bank, and buyback the old one from the tavern.
