It would be better to see a warning of how much time left before maintenance, instead of GMT+ whatever it is. I'm in Australia and if I log in during the notification period, which seems to be 2 hours prior, I have to work out what the time is in "server land" to see if it's worthwhile staying in game, even for sorting loot, selling stuff etc. Why don't you just do a message that says "...in 1 hour", "...in 45 mins", etc? That would be kinder for the rest of us not in same time period as GMT or wherever server is.

You could also learn how to do conversions from GMT/UTC. While a timer would be nice, it is always best to count on yourself then someone halfway around the world to get the numbers right.
