If dxdiag still states "Direct3D functionality not available" and the value I mention is set to 7 then I'd advise re-installing DirectX

yes it shows unavailable, should i uninstall catalyst first? or not?
Install the latest directx first; reboot and see if the error re-occurs.
A possible fix this person found was to remove and re-add the display card from device manager:

Now i think this might be a lil on turbine´s end? since i saw a lot of people complaning about lag-like issues lately. well hope turbine makes the game a lil more LOW-END systems friendly.
Glad to hear you're able to get into the game again Alikhan

It depends if it was network or systems-related.
If you can start the game and see your characters... Can you click on the Options? Then under Graphics check the Detect Optimal Settings Box... I wonder if there's something wrong with the UserPreferences.ini file...

how do i check if there´s soemthing wrong with that??
the game is playable now, but to the very limit of becoming unplayable
some boss fights i just have to stand afar or i will lag freeze and die.
some graphic heavy spells like meteor swarm really slow things down, i dont even see the spell animation just a freeze and the damage it does afterwards, Im completely out of ideas, either my video card is just damaged somehow, or simply put, after all teh recent updates and patches my video card simply cant handle DDO anymore, is ita possibility at all?
Not that I know of - the UserPreferences.ini file I believe is created at install, and is only updated during modifications to your settings - since your online it should be okay.
Slow system... Have you tried the two links for lag? I would suspect it's on your end. Swap file location? Hopefully it's on your D drive if you've installed DDO on your C drive. Control Panel - System - Advanced - Performance - Settings button. Advanced Tab at the bottom. Click on Change: Highlight the C drive and just below that it will tell you if it's on that drive or not. I would suspect it is. Click on your other drive and see if one's there. I can't remember but I think you can only have one. If you change it you will have to reboot. Before you change it you should defrag the drive where your going to put it. IE: If DDO is on C and your going to change it to D (where it should be), then defrag the D drive before you change it. If DDO is on your C drive and your page file is on your D drive then it should be okay, but I see that it seems to be a "System managed size" - where windows is managing the size of the file. This creates lag on your end because when DDO or any other program is running windows is trying to adjust the size of the page file and reading and writing to the same drive...
I have never ran into any problems changing this but I think there is a warning dialog when you change the page file. Following these instructions will change your paging file to the other drive from your primary dirve. So with the other drive defragged, Control Panel - System - Advanced - Performance - Settings button. Advanced Tab at the bottom. Click on Change: Highlight the C drive. Click on "No paging file. Then click "Set" After that you may or maynot get a dialog box. Then click on the other drive and click on "Custom Size" In the initial size box put in: 5100 and in the Maximum size box put in 5100. Then click Set. After that then click OK. I think this is where it will want to reboot. Go ahead and reboot. The point of doing this is to change the drive where your swap file is and where DDO (and most programs) are installed. This prevents the system from having to read & write to the same drive.
As for the lag recently I think part of it is the loading on the servers, there seems to be a lot more people on. Although they are going to do some maintenance on monday.
