Stealth in PvP

Is it just my humble self, or does stealth of any nature, not work in PvP?

In DDO players can always see / target you when trying to stealth.

Which kinda bites as it removes a strong point of the rogue. Most ppl run around as it is with some form of fortification already, so having to visibly run up to them, instead of stealthing in as a rogue should be able to do, makes for a very short match.

What I do is I just chill in a corner, pick a target, equip my Vertigo dagger, and when they're distracted go up and ninja them. ^^

Once they've pwned you multiple times, they start ignoring you; considering you too weak and feeble to matter anymore. That's when you hide in the corner and pounce to show them what a rogue can do. Then sit back and endure some payback pwnage until they get bored, or distracted by some other more capable pvp character. rinse and repeat.
