Seeking Advice

I am a rather inexperienced player. Hoping to get advice on what kind of feats and enhancements and also possibly gear I could get from now on to improve my fighter.

Currently lvl 9 Half-Orc Fighter, alignment True Neutral.

Current Stats: Str 27 Dex 10 Con 18 Int 8 Wis 10 Cha 6

Feats: Cleave, Stunning Blow, Toughness, Weapon Spec and Focus: Slashing, Two Handed and Improved Two Handed Fighting

Enhancements: Fighter Attack Boost 2, Fighter Haste Boost 3, Fighter Critical Accuracy 3, Orcish Extra Action Boost 1, Orcish Melee Damage 2, Orcish Strength 1, Orcish Great Weapon Aptitude 1, Racial Toughness 2, Fighter Toughness 2, Improved Jump 1, Fighter Strength 1.

Gear are normal and unspectacular, usually change to those that improve my stats as and when I can afford them on the AH.

I am planning to get the Kensai Prestige enhancement when I can afford it.

the first feat that come to my mind I see missing in your list is Improved Critical it is the very first feat to take as soon as it is possible. I see Power Attack is missing too but you got Cleave so it is a prerequisite

Kensei is (compared to Stalwart), a simpler build for new players. However, you'll have lower AC, as well. AC will stop being useful to you earlier on. You'll want to make sure you're compensating by having static DR, Heavy Fortification, and lots of Hit Points.

If possible, Deathblock/Elemental Resist Items.

With Stunning Blow, a Stunning +# Maul is normally pretty good to have handy, for stunning mobs with higher-than-usual Fort saves.

But really.. other than the normal, basic gear advice, this is pretty simple to use. Kill mobs before they have a chance to significantly damage you. Focus on Stunning/Tripping casters first, as they're the ones that will cause you the most damage.

You are level 9, so you should already have Kensai I. Respec enhancements taking Kensai I. On level 10 take Improved Critical Slash. Cleave is not very useful but fighter have lot of feats so i'ts not a problem. You should try to plan you future levels with the character planner:

Thank you... I just respecced enhancements to take up Kensai 1 with focus on GS...

Havent had the chance to run any quests yet but am posting average numbers of 45 dmg per swing with my +1 Icy Burst GS of Maiming on the training dummy... (With Power Attack on)

Is there any way to improve these numbers?

Definitely get Kensai II at level 12..that give Power surge which is + 8 boost to strength. Really helps your DPS and to hit numbers. You gonna start seeing DPS grow significantly over the next few levels. Better Gear is in your near future that will help emmensely.

If you are a THF...go back and farm Delera's for Carnifex. Not too many better weapons in the game at this level.
