Lig 2 x2 vs Lig 2 / Earth 2 question...

I am preparing to TR my paladin soon and trying to get my gear set as best as I can before so.

Planning on a 18 pal / 2 monk build based on the self healing dps in Juntz Creating Paladins Guide.

Someone recently suggested that I change my GS Lightening 2 item to an Earth 2 item for the Earthgrab effect. But ddo to the slot problems I have with end game gear I am planning, it is just not possible.
I do however love the chance of auto-crit effects.

So I was looking at the needs for my pair of Lightening 2 Khopesh.

I also saw that rather easily I could also make an earth 2 Khopesh to get the earthgrab effect (auto crit).

Any thoughts on DPS effects on wielding a Lig. 2 Khopesh and Earth 2 Khopesh vs. Two Light. 2 Khopesh?

Craft a pair of each.
Ideally i prefer earthgrab heavy picks and li II kopeshes though.
Edit: Further explaining, earthgrab heavy picks for epic trash and liII kopesh for general devils/demons beatdown, including harry/horoth, etc. on normal.
Kinda enjoy my vacuum II heavy picks on epic DA and chronosphere, but would only advise it if u dont know what else to do with your larges.
