Hello folks,

Crimson Eagles are currently on the lookout for new members, but not just anyone. We do not *want* the best geared players on Khyber or even the best players. They are certainly welcome if the attitude fits though
Our first and foremost criteria is attitude and the type of player that sticks around, and sticks it out even when the odds are against us, and pulls victory from the clutches of a Pit Fiend's teeth.

We are a medium size guild, with lots of activity from a small amount of members. Our most active members are from Australia, Singapore and America.

Most activity is 7pm-2am +10GMT time.

We are looking for players that look to improve their character builds, playing ability and are not afraid of failing.
Ideal members are not afraid to ask questions, admit they are having a bad night kiting in ToD and will enjoy the rivalry between WF, Elves and Halflings.

You do not need to be an exceptional player that knows all the quests, but someone that is willing to learn and has a team oriented focus. Someone that is an individual, but a very important cog in the machine that is Crimson Eagles.

Since we are a small guild, and the reason we are recruiting is to meet some great people to enjoy raiding and questing with, we would appreciate applicants that have a love for the game, and play regularly (once a week is just not gonna cut it). Nightly for 3+ hours is what we are really after.

We run mostly Epic raids/quests and ToD, VoD, and always pug spots. I would love a full guild run, maybe if we get the right players
For this reason, to get the most out of CE and for us to actually give you a trial, you will have most of the common packs.

ToD, Epic Devil Assault, Epic Chronoscope, Epic OOB, Epic DQ2, Epic Von6, Von1+2 are all run fairly frequently, so new members really should have the packs containing these quests.


So what is in Crimson Eagles for you?

Friendly people that have wide game knowledge on all classes from Clerics to Barbarians, 0ac sponges to 90ac hate tanks, Elite VoD runs easier than a Normal pug (while pugging some spots).

*Guild Raids and Epics that pug a lot of spots and have no issues completing smoothly 90% of the time. We do not label our lfms, Khyber regulars know us and join us for some fun. We are very forgiving and definitely not elitist.

*Lots of guild joking around, Vent.

*Access to our raid channel, shared with select friends of CE from: Displaced Souls, Loreseekers, Prophets, SrTG + more

*Playstyle: Lots of raiding, respect guildies and be willing to help each other, no loot drama at all, not afraid to try tactics "out of the box".
* Endgame Focus: Lots of Epic raids, Quests and self imposed challenges (Duo VoD, solo Amrath etc) and yes, we grind for epic gear and greensteel.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Positive,honest attitude towards each other with a willingness to help out.
* Willingness to learn from mistakes and become a better player no matter your skill level
* At least 2 Lvl 20 characters, with an effort towards multiple characters of different classes for Epic's and raids
* If you spend most of your time leveling (not just a new toon or TR but hardly play the end game) then we are not the right guild for you

Why can't the "dps" use stun and something better than Terror? I really want to heal OOB but it's so painful lately.

We have had 1 new member since I posted this, keen to get a few more like minded individuals onboard. Don't be afraid to send me a PM or in game tell.

You can look forward to 5 man runs of VoD, that turn into 4 man when the cleric has a DC. Then the sorc is healing the Sulu tank while the lvl 14 Fighter is holding the last 4 Orthons in a corner for 5 minutes, while the sulu tank raises the sorc.

That was the most fun raid I have been in for a very long time

Yes in CE, we prefer to run VoD without disabling traps.

Also, we have 2 new members due to this thread, so say hi to Zaraiya and Littleg if you see them about. Both are very cool guys, and an asset to any party or guild.

Hey Elric, I'm not a member/officer of CE but I think it is important to note that they usually lean toward Epic play. If you don't have a capped toon, or several for that matter, and sufficient experience in Epic(s) your chances of receiving an invite are very slim.

It sounds like you have a very good attitude toward playing, best of luck to the three of you and I hope you find a home
