    Exclamation A reccomendation for VIP's

I recently bought multiple LR Hearts Of Wood, which I planned to use to re-roll my level 15 monk so that he would, instead, be a level 15 Wizard.
I got to the Reincarnation fellow and found that I can only do this once a week, this angered me as I spent well over 70 dollars to get those hearts of wood, and I could easily create a wizard in that time.
I understand that having too many people do that could cause some problems, I'm a big computer guy so I get it, but I also think that VIP's should get a fair bit more attention than this. We pay good money and as such should get the best service you can offer.

My recommendation to you guys is allow VIP's to LR and GR a few times a week. I think it would make you a little bit more money and the more benefits VIP's get the more people will go VIP.

This also caused complications because now my 12monk/3wiz doesn't do EITHER job very well and people don't enjoy playing with a bad character, so I don't get very many parties and worse low EXP.

    Exclamation Also!

Also, is there anyway you guys could make an exception here and allow me to use my hearts that I spent my money on. Had I known this I would have only bought one this week... Please, Get back to me ASAP.

I do not support this recomendation.

I suggest that you keep leveling and by next week you can use another heart and be a Firewalling/Hasted Pale Master/Monk. It will work out eventually.

Sorry for your accident...at the same time I am sick and tired of ViP should be treated special, they should get this, they should get that...simply because they are ViP......

sorry I spend way way over an average of $15 dollars a month on points...I am premium....when exactly do I get my special perks.......

Before you make any big purchases or plan to make any major changes to characters in the future...do yourself a favor and always consult the forums first.

As for the ViP thing....until they start giving something special to premiums who are spending quite a bit on points a month...well over the price of a sub fee.......I'd like to stop hearing the whining about how much more special they are.

Start putting well paying premium customers in your requests and maybe I will be more apt to support your cause.

Okay, what about guys like me who spend more on points than that and are Vip? What about the fact that premium get's it's perks, and spending money on points IS one of the perks?

Also at 15 a month you could go VIP. Why don't you?

(This isn't meant to offend anyone of course, it's just I am somewhat new to the game and made a mistake that I would like to have resolved. We all get a little more like this when we make mistakes that affect what we're doing in a bad way.)

    Quite simply, NO!

You made a mistake, sorry but live with it. NO ONE should be given special treatment. If they did this for you then there would be others DEMANDING the same thing. So, no!

As for your suggestion, I quite like the idea. I am premium and have never been VIP, not do I plan on ever becoming VIP, but allowing VIP's to LR/GR once every 3.5 days (ie twice a week) is a good idea. VIP should get extra benefits and this would be a very good one.

Quite simply you can just spend $15 a month for ViP and get all the I'm on a soapbox and should be worshipped benefits....without having to buy any points at all.

I don't see why they can't have a tiered spenders club where people who spend such and such a month and keep it up also get some ViP perks, I mean after all we are putting in as much or more as a ViP sub.

BTW, why would I not go ViP?...... because I bought the entire game already, including WF'ed, Monk, the character slots I needed to get all my toons back...yes I was "ViP" solid for 3 1/2 years before this game went F2P.......bought the shared bank and it's add on, bought all adventures packs and will continues to buy hearts of wood and other goodies from the store when I can.

I think this alone should warrant me having access to special little things like immediate elite opening without paying...blah blah...etc...seriously.....I'm sure there are some premiums who don't put that much into the game at all, but I am not one of them and am sick of being shoved in the.....I am lesser than a ViP simply because I am a premium grouping.

    Get over yourselves already.

Been VIP since DDO came out but that is personal preference. And I love the fact that I can open any quest on Elite. That is more then enough compensation for me. So please don't paint all of us VIPs as Elitist @$$holes.

As i specifically stated, I meant NO offense.
And I agree there should be different brackets based on how much you spend.
I have spent well over a few hundred in just the first few months i've been playing.
I'm simply saying I made a mistake, regret it, and would like a way to at the very least undo it.
Maybe a reversion item you can buy from the DDO store.

Sorry I did not mean it as a general statement directed towards all ViP's.

There are quite a few of them with this attitude tho.......

They really should implement the tiered spender thing tho, if you fall out of a certain bracket you lose your benefits, but really...come on.....I bet I am putting in a lot more than quite a few ViP's are......I'd like to know when I will get my 500 free points a month....lol.

The issue I find with letting VIPs LR and/or GR a few times a week, is that it's a bit beyond the normal VIP benefits. Hearts of wood are some of the rarest items in the game, and are very expensive in the DDO store. In my opinion, to let VIPs have easy access to the hearts or their effects is like say, eliminating their raid timers and letting them pick a new named item every 3 days.
I do think they should get some benefits, since they are paying for the game, but not to the point of ridiculousness.

And before I get yelled at because 'premium players pay too', I should point out that they also get benefits. Just not on par with those of VIP because they don't regularly pay (for the most part)

But hey, that's just what I think. Feel free to argue.

My argument is while the "all ViP's are treated equally" works fine and well for them......all Premiums should not be treated equally.....more to the point, the ones that are putting in a hefty amount of RL dollars are not getting any benefits at all.....I have no clue what you are talking about there.

Quite simply put, if you are averaging more than $15 dollars a month on TP's and your premium I think you should at least be getting some of the perks the ViPs are. Even a ViP is not a consistent source as they may not be able to or want to keep up there sub every month...so why should they get all the benefits....one month of loyalty that may or may not continue get's you royalty?!

And don't forget, some VIPs (myself included) took advantage of the 6 months for $60 deal so we are only paying $10 a month.

Not sure if this is what you meant when you said you didn't know what I was talking about, but the benefits I found for premium are:
4 character slots instead of 2
    high log in queue
    unlimited chat/auctions/mail
    normal game coin limit
20 minute idle timer logout instead of 10
full customer service for 45 days
    posting on the compendium
    better posting on forums.

And yes some people are spending more on TPs than others, but isn't their reward for that more points? Honestly I think premiums do get what they pay for. Right now $20.00 will get you 1550 TPS. It takes VIPs 3 months to earn that much, but costs $42.00. The extra $20 would be for all the benefits. Meanwhile the premium player can use those points to pick up some adventure packs that they will never have to buy again. Buying a lot of points instead of VIP is just a way to pay for almost everything at once

why not treat us special? we pay our $15 a month, plus the cost of whatever points we purchase.
Premium can buy a pack, then done. no more money for turbine. ViP keeps paying monthly regardless. so why can't I have special treatment, seeign as I'm always paying in?
