No they do not. AFAIK Evil Outsiders are Devils and Demons (of which there are many kinds). Mephits are outsiders, but seem to be neutral as are elementals. I'm probably missing a few.

Don't know about for Paladin purposes, but Tieflings are evil outsiders according to Evil Outsider Bane weapons like the Dreamspitter. They are not, however, evil outsiders for the purpose of the Ranger Favored Enemy feat, and they're not considered tainted for the purpose of Shintao monk abilities. I have no idea how the paladin abilities will classify them.

    Aren't Tieflings half demons?

Yes, and because they're half-human, KOTC will not treat them as evil outsiders, nor will the light-damage portion Paladin Weapons of Good (although the holy effect of this capstone enhancement will still apply to Tieflings, as they are still evil). Furthermore, of the four most common magical damage types, acid is the only one that tieflings don't appear to have any resistance to (they also don't resist light and force damage).

If you examine the mob, and it says "Evil Outsider", then it's an Evil Outsider.

This includes Demons, Devils, and Quori.

    Not much else I'm afraid.

    This is incorrect.

Tieflings are (sometimes) not damaged by knight of the chalice and/or paladin capstone effects because they are Native outsiders, eg, they're on their home plane (and consequently not treated as outsiders on it).

Only some tieflings are typed this way; those that don't have the native outsider classification take full damage from paladin evil outsider effects.

And yes, it probably shouldn't behave that way.

Most tieflings (non-epic anyway) also lack fire resistance.

No, "half demon" would be like a Half Fiend. Tieflings are "Planetouched" meaning they have traces of blood from a demon or devil. Basically their blood has the taint of demon/devil blood in it from something an ancestor did several generations or so ago.

It's sort of jacked up how tieflings and bane weapons and favored enemies interact in DDO. No idea if KotC affects them or not, it's been awhile since I had a high level paladin.

Efreeti and Rakshasa qualify as well, as mentioned above.

You say "Not much else I'm afraid" as if end game isn't saturated with evil outsiders, heh.
