    Default Holy Assassin - 12 Pal/7 Rog/1 Monk

    Have been playing around with a bit of a flavour build (Knight of the Chalice II/Assassin I) and wondering if this will perform like I hope. Haven't seen anything quite like this when I was searching around the forums.

    Goals of the build are: support dps, evasion with high saves, good solo ability/self sufficient, high umd, full trap smithing, decent end game AC.

    I'm not a number cruncher and not very familiar with high level gear options so I'm not sure if the AC and dps will actually be enough to make it worth while. Also, wondering if it might be better to go 14 pal/6 rog to get 4th lvl spells (mostly zeal). Went with 7 rog for the extra sneak attack die and more skill points, 1 level of monk for feat and extra AC with wis item (will be wearing robes anyway once dex gets high) .

    Way it's set out now the build has 5d6 sneak attack, an extra d6 against evil outsiders, divine might II and power attack to help make up for the low str. Build is be a bit weak against undead but exalted smite can can help situationally.

    I'll need two +2 tomes at high levels to get PA and DMII. Don't have them yet but imagine they won't take too much to acquire.

    Hmm? No suggestions? Did I reinvent the wheel or something? Looked around but didn't see more than a 2 lvl rogue splashed pally. Is it totally gimped to go with a deeper splash? Only reason I didn't go 18/2 is I don't see how I'd be able to do traps past low levels with the very limit skill points pallys get.

    This is one of the greatest vanity builds of all time.

    This build is PnP impossible but can be done in MMO because GMs do not monitor player actions.

    There is nothing technically wrong with the build or your choices but most people will not even consider the build because it is "just not DnD (and 4th ed. IS???)"

    There is still some debate about whether or not the Wis bonus works while wearing armor so you may wish to concentrate on AC gear.

    I agree, it's a total contradiction but it gives it a bit more flavour than standard cookie cutter 18/2 pally. Thought it would actually be a good RP build as you'd have to have a rather interesting back story.

    As far as I know the monk Wis AC bonus only works in robes. I'm planning on wearing armor up to the point when my Dex+Wis bonus with some AC items becomes > than my armor bonus.

    I am planning on 12 Paladin/7 Rogue Drow TWF for my next guy. Just need to pick that last level.

    Check out http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=218542 and adjust for a little more INT

    Also check out posts on the AC is all or nothing for late game.

    It should be a blast to play.
