Bloody Cleaver + Staff of Shadows

Thought I would ask about this since the free crafting trial is coming up. Not a Lamannian (Lamanniaite?) myself, but looking over the updates for release notes, I've been wondering if this option is/will be as solid as it looks. Not a top notch dps weapon, of course, but a bloodfeeder falchion + lesser vampirism seems like an excellent weapon for a two-hander character who wants to solo or do their part to keep their hp up and and not over-tax the healers. Anyone try it or planning to and if so what are your thoughts?

Edit: Also (bit of a tangent) anyone know if lesser vamprism provokes on glancing the same way other weapon properties do?

I used the bloody falchion without the upgrade a lot in levelling my fighter when I was soloing stuff. The body feeder proccing 30% of the time meant I rarely had to heal myself. The vampirism can only help this.
