Feedback to my Pala 18/Fighter 2 Intimitank

OP, I finally decided to go pure like Junts' character did.

I thought about being able to Intim the queen, but even with +6 CHA skills from Shroud, 2 feats, 3 enhancements, +15 and +5 from items, +4 from GH, full ranks, and all that jazz, I still wasn't able to get above 80% without drinking Yugo pots.

Considering that my Intim would only need to be high for that fight, of which my guild really has no shortage of tanks, I decided to just go DPS with the capstone. I won't be able to intim her, but I'll be to hate tank much easier in other raids. I don't think Intim is even really needed in other raids.

With Defender of Siberys and your DEX score you don't have enough DEX to qualify wearing Daggertooth's Belt unless you put on a +6 DEX item, you need 20 DEX with DoS and Daggertooth's Belt.

Also If you're going to wear a +5 Protection item I'd make it a GS +5 Protection, Heavy Fort. Then you can get rid of Minos. There are a lot of ways to get Toughness now.

Beyond that you can get 1 more AC if you use the Levik's set on your DT instead of the +4 Insight. You already have the bracers and the shield in your gear. I wouldn't suggest putting it over your current +4 insight if you really need that 1 AC (seeing you're already getting +3 from Leviks) but if you can do it the last piece of Levik's would be worth more.

On a side note, this is very similar to my DoS and she's just not worth playing any more. At one point, and in some quest items, she was my best geared most raided character until epics came out.

Why would you suggest Daggertooth's Belt? You get more AC out of using an Epic Docent with +2 DEX loaded in the Blue Slot, and the DoS Pally belt for +2 stacking.

Levick's is just bad all around. Maybe good to have for TRing or whatnot, but the OP would be better off with Mabar Cloak + Epic Claw set if he can, or just plain Chaosgarde's if he missed the event.

Did you read his gear? I'm commenting on what he has in his setup not just saying some other items that could be better if he re-works almost everything he's wearing.

His gear isn't particularly good; he's gonna have to rearrange it anyway. Right now he's missing a Dodge +2 item, Dodge +3 item, and the Paladin set bonus from ToD. That's a heck of a lot of AC he's missing...

About dodge 3, guys is not easy to have a chattering ring but i'm still trying!!!

The DoS set'll also give you a nice threat increase.

If you can, get the Mabar Cloak next time the event's in town.

Anyay if i use DoS set I lost the dex bonus coming from daggerthoot... so i lost a +2 dex and gaina +2 for the set... what's my gain in this?

It covers CON and GFL on the belt. The Ring covers STR and +1 CHA with a slot for another exceptional +2 or some other bonus. That saves you a bunch of slots. It then gives you +15% threat and +2 stacking AC.

That means you can take off your Levik's Bracers because your STR is covered, freeing up your Bracer slot as well as your necklace slot because it covers CON in exchange for a Ring and a Belt.

After that you can use your Epic Kundarak shield. Once you're doing that you can switch to Epic Armor that has a +2 DEX Mod gem added to it.

Now you're back to where you started with DEX but you have 2 more AC and much better coverage for your needed effects (+6 CON, +6 STR, GFL, etc.)

Like Maldavenous said in the long term you can put +2 Max DEX bonus on an epic armour.

In the short term your AC is still the same, but now you get extra Threat for hate tanking. I'd call that a win.

So with this I've free slots on Neck, Bracers and cloak.... not bad at all
about epic armor... which one i can use?

For neck look into Epic Hyena Claw Necklace. +15 Intimidate, Toughness, +7 CON and a Yellow Slot.

Or you could look into Epic Siren's Charm, which when combined with Epic Gem of Many Facets gives you +4 Insight AC.


Cloak I'd probably leave open waiting for the next Mabar Event, and in the meantime wear Chaosgarde's when you need the extra AC. My gloves and bracers are planed to Epic the Epic Claw set for the +30% healing amp, +2 exceptional CON (needed since only one ToD ring) and +20% threat.

I'm looking for epic hyena claw for long time but atm i only have item and scroll
Not a lot of people run for epic menechtarun atm unfortunately
For cloak I was looking for epic silver concord but now I've even a CC bard so this cloak is reserved for him :P
Thanks for other tips about items anyway! now that i've red fens and deneith pack i've a lot of option even easy to catch up for my gear
About armor... ok i've to admit I nominate that one cause I've all stuffs that I need to craft it (but armor itself... a little farm run and I can put remedy on it anyway :P)!!!

I was wondering about improving this build by adding the TWF's line feats... U think it can be possible keeping my effectiveness with intimitanking?
