Question Question about PM Wraith form

How severe is the unarmed Con damage on a stunned mob? Noticeable? Negligible?

    Thanks!

since con dmg no longer kills I view all con dmg as negligable to enemies

It's really negligible. Consider that a 1-handed puncturing weapon will do 1d6 con damage on that crit whereas your unarmed is just a flat 1 point.

You're better off (a) whacking them with a dreamspitter (b) hitting them with two bursting/maiming heavy picks or (c) using puncturing (or dual puncturing).

seriously? Is this constitution damage not killing anything or just not killing monsters now?

Well you may be able to take down the hp that come from con, yet still rely on the necrotic combo for the bulk of the damage.
All while being incorporeal, although the fans of the lich will just take the damage if the aura allows.

Imo the main benefit of the Wraith form is for melee battlecasters (aka Swordmages). Your benefit from the main ability of Wraithform (25% incorporeal avoidance and nullification of enemy incorporeality) along with some nice hidden bonuses (+20 to Balance that is not stated anywhere) makes this form better than Lich. Just the 25% incorporeality is bound to give you more survivability on hard hitting mobs compared to 40 total hps and 8-10% for 30 temporary hps.

If you are a pure caster I do not see a reason why you would use Wraith form apart from the coolness factor

shadow mage concept gets +20 to move silently, combined with invis = really stealthy with little skill investment.

but yeah, other than that, i got nothing.

I use it for incorporeality most of the time(for example vod, von6 and dq2), sometimes for move silently(soloing) and sometimes for balance(every fight against dragon and twilight forge). Sometimes it's better than extra hp and better dcs to avoid hits with constant basis. For normal questing I'm almost always in lich shroud.

I didn't even take wraith shroud on my 20 wiz. I'm not taking it on my 12 wiz/8 monk either. Lich form is much better for these toons (Dark path monk, so I have Shadowfade for Incorp)
