    Default Pewpew Fu-Monk Arcane Archer

    Greetings all.

    This is a finalized build that I've had up on the forums, with the input I've received put in as I wanted. I'd appreciate it if you could look over it and give me your opinion, as well as any suggestions or questions you may have. So, for your consideration,

    Cloak: Min II (With +45 hp)/Smoke II (With +45 hp)
    Outfit: DT with +5 resist, +6 str, +3 dodge/DT with +5 resist, heal amp 20%, Destruction/DT with +5 resist, Corrosive Salt Guard, Disintegration Guard*
    Wrists: Bracers of the Glacier/Jidz Tet'ka**/Chaosgarde
    Gloves:Spectral Gloves/+6 Str gloves
    Ring 1: Gilvaenor's Ring (+2 exc dex or Holy Burst)
    Ring 2:Kyosho's Ring (+2 exc str or Shock Burst)

    *Of these three sets, I have one done, one partial, and the guard set I have yet to start. These are my AC sets, heal amp set and guard set.
    **I don't need the Epic Jidz Tet'ka, but if I did I could completly drop Chaosgardes.
    ***My current gear setup is missing my +6 strength, so I'm forced to put it on DT. This belt would be optimal for combining these two item effects, I feel.

    As you can see, I have some of the gear I need, but am missing quite a bit, largely because I never bothered to get the toon that will be TRing to this build flagged for most of the raids (Abbot and Reavers, mostly). Currently working on farming for those, so may have the more important parts before I TR. I haven't included any Epic gear because I may or may not grind out epics, depending on how I feel with the build by end game.

    As I feel my post has gone on long enough, I'll omit the AC, hp, skill and stat breakdowns. If someone asks though, I can provide those.

    Questions: Why take Zen archery when your Dex score is always going to be higher or at the very least equal to your Wisdom?
    Also, what weapon are you planning on using here and how would you keep yourself centred?

    As sirdanile noted, I'm simply taking Zen Archery to remain centered with bows. With that in mind...

    I currently have a Lit II bow, as well as the assorted bows any good arcane archer should have-Para, banishing, Imp. Destruction, Imp. Cursespewing, Imp. Roaring...you get the picture. For melee, I'm about to finish up a Min II shortsword with my +4 Insight AC (2 large scales to go!), and have a second Min II shortsword at tier II (Will have my +2 Exceptional Wis for another +1 AC). I also have a variety of kamas, including a pair of vorpal kamas (With Wind III, it works pretty well). My ranger currently has a pair of Lit II rapiers as well, but since that would uncenter me, they're going to be banked.

    The build I'm using trades off heal amp III, +2 attack (Or hit) with bows and a little sp for more average melee dps. I'm considering TRing again when I hit 20 and swapping the lv 18 feat for the monk past life. So far, it's been easy to build ki even in wind stance with shortswords, for those times where I like to keep my AC (Yes, I can get a meaningful AC. I'm still missing parts of my gear, which would be an extra +4 AC. I currently have a screenshot from a HoX raid where I'm pulling a 70 AC with self buffs and a bard song with current gear). All I can say is that I'm looking forward to level 20.

    The build I'm using trades off heal amp III, +2 attack (Or hit) with bows and a little sp for more average melee dps. I'm considering TRing again when I hit 20 and swapping the lv 18 feat for the monk past life. So far, it's been easy to build ki even in wind stance with shortswords, for those times where I like to keep my AC (Yes, I can get a meaningful AC. I'm still missing parts of my gear, which would be an extra +4 AC. I currently have a screenshot from a HoX raid where I'm pulling a 70 AC with self buffs and a bard song with current gear). All I can say is that I'm looking forward to level 20.
    I noticed youre taking precise shot @ level 9, although You get it for free since by level 7 youre already level 6 ranger, and you get precise shot for free @ 4 ranger. A mistake possibly?
