Default After 3 years or so

    Greetings everyone,

I would first like to state that I have come back to DDO after about a 3 year absence. Wow, a lot of things have changed / improved! I started playing DDO from the launch and played all the way up to the red dragon raid pretty regularly (about 6-8 hours a day.) I was in a pretty large guild and we raided the hell out of it. I then subbed for about a month when the lv cap was increased to 12 but did not play for long. When i logged back in after such a long absence there was absolutely no one active in my guild, not very surprised though. I have been playing for a couple weeks now and I am quite happy with a lot of the changes that have taken place in DDO(i think i will be staying for awhile) but boy do i feel like a noob.

Some of the things that have changed since the last time i played, lv cap increased to 20 (tons of new content that i have yet been able to explore,) a lot more raids have been introduced into the game, a lot of work on the whole enhancement system, the whole TR which i still do not fully understand, there was a server merge at some point i am guessing since i was on Thar and its not there anymore lol (and i have the server name after my own name for some reason, guessing someone else had my character name,) a lot of the wizard spells have been added or improved, prestige stuff, for some reason the base currency in the game was changed from gp to plat... now the 100k plat i had on my old char seems pretty worthless now haha, FS and monks have been added but still waiting to see a druid, half orcs and elves have been added as well, the f2p and p2p system and many other small changes.

I basically wanted to send out a "Greetings!" to my fellow adventurers on this server and wanted to know if there are any tips or suggestions that any players could suggest to me after a long absence. I have been reading the forums but not too much, i still want to be surprised by some of the content in game heh.

My main before was named Tharkun (wiz 10), Thorondor (clr 9) and the new character was Ainur (now a drow wiz 12, my new main).

I am also looking for a new guild, there are only 2 people from my old friend list (that was maxed i believe) that still seem to be active (Strings and Kronos) but i have yet to catch them online. i play mainly from 1amEST until about 2pm EST since i am now located in Asia(on the weekend i am online pretty much all the time.) I am looking for a guild that is interested in raiding a lot, i am up for casual Rp, people that will have a little patience with my new found noobness haha, older players in age and experience and have 25+ active members.

As i stated before i have been playing for a couple weeks now, i play about 6-8 hours a day and i plan on staying here for awhile. So if anyone wants to throw some advice my way or send a "hello" please feel free to do so. My main is now Ainur but i still play with Thorondor and Tharkun.
