Lag issues on Thelanis

Over the last 5 weeks the lag has been so bad, some people stopped playing for a night, or have had to reboot several times with no resolve.

Are other servers having the same issues?

Is the Mabar event the cause of recent lag so bad we cant play the game?

Is the server overpopulated?

Tickets are being submitted, people are posting about it, but we are not getting any answers from the devs.

Update 5 on Lama during a dev monitored shroud, we ran at 7% latency, Then the update went live, GREAT! for 3 days until the first hotfix, then it came right back.

We have been dealing with it for some time, and a certain level of lag is acceptable, but it is so bad lately that its taking its toll on peoples nerves, not to mention players resources.

Can we get some love from the devs on this issue please?

I second that motion. Previous to a couple months ago, lag was something I heard people complain _vehemently_ about, but I always thought they were overreacting or just had a poor internet connection. But recently I've begun to understand what they mean, and how frustrating it can be. Mind you, my internet connection is extremely fast, and I never see any kind of slowness in any application other than DDO, and even then I've only noticed it in the last couple months. Whatever it is, it's enough to make me think seriously about not renewing my VIP subscription, and I'm probably not the only one feeling this way. Turbine, our balls are in your court.
