Not sure if you have turbine points BUT thats a MUCH better option !

They usually sit around the 750-800 point area as I recall

I've seen a Lesser +3 and Greater +3 drop in back to back runs of the Dragon chests while running for scales. It may have just been incredible luck, but it might be worth running a few times as well. The Lesser was on Normal and the Greater was on Hard. And if you get any of those pesky blue scales taking up your inventory I can always take them off your hands.
