I recently picked up Guild Wars to spend a day a week with. Prolly Sundays, since DDO tends to be dead. Does anyone else vacay there or have any interest in doing so? Personally, I need a break from having to be uber all the time, and stumbling around with a brand new toon in a brand new game is just the prescription I need. Join me, Skywalker...

After playing it for a bit last night, I kinda agree, but it is really nice to get excited about every single item dropped by dead mobs. I don't know what any of them do, or what is good and what's garbage, and I'm finding it to be highly refreshing.

In the end, it's basically a card collecting game with an action element.

Find mob, collect ability, repeat.

Switch to PvP mode, use collected abilities to defeat others, repeat.

What class are you playing as and which campaign? I've been playing that game for 5 years now.

My main character on Guild Wars is Colosus Jokers(a mesmer). But in all honesty it's a lot easier to get ahold of me over X-Fire(username colosusjokers).

Depends on if I'm feeling up to it at the time but if you catch me online I may join you. I used to love making and experimenting with different character builds on there(still do sometimes).

At the moment, I just have a level 5 dervish in the nightfall campaign. I took necro as my secondary profession so I could make minions. And I am totally down to try new things, especially if someone is there to hold my hand. Definitely thinking Sunday will be my Guild Wars night.

I played for 5 years and ran pretty much every bit of every expansion etc into the ground. I've still got a TON of plat, items and crafting materials sitting on my account languishing.

Starting out in guildwars now is kinda tough to find parties and using henchmen isn't always fun (unless u like watching alesia die over and over again). I'd recommend you get nightfall and or eye of north both of those expansions allow you to have heros that you can customize and lvl up with you.
