Default Guild recruitment in grouping menu

I Dont know what some of you guild leaders/officers/members are thinking or mabey some of you just dont know/fail to read something very important

Using the grouping menu for anything other than forming a group is bannable this includes posting for items to buy sell or trade , guild recruiting, or any other thinkable thing other than forming a group

Plz stop this if you didnt know befor you do now, now it is very possible i could be wrong now, but i personaly know people to be banned for such missuse of the window

this is fair warning if you get banned for this hopefully you get to play again and will learn

Sarlon this is very bad * slaps hand*

So i just had to make sure again and yes it is still a bannable so thier you have it

    Default yeah

I like seeing the guild LFM's, but the sheriff is correct in that it is against policy.

To cirumnaviagate such policy, just add that you are doing "trial runs" or holding guild "auditions", this will allow you to recuit without repercussions.

I hate doing this, so just so you know I'm not flaiming or trolling, but I am not trying to "sheriff" anything. I'm not laying down the law, making the law, or enforcing the law. Im just that guy with the crime watch sticker on his window being a good neighbor and making people aware of a problem.

To "Circumnavigate" the rules/policy just adds to how fast you will get punished and the severity of such punishment. Just a side note advising people to, or telling people how to "circumnavigate" said TOS/Policy is also Bannable

Oh no you are wrong here, this IS allowed. I will provide the quote for you or you can go an find it by yourself.

Again, I enjoy seeing them. To reitterate, just put in the LFM that you are auditioning members or running a "trial guild-run" or something and you will avoid the hall-monitors.

i also like to see people using available resources in in diferent ways shows good gaming obsession. It also shows a need for turbine to provide an all instance server wide general purpose in game message board like the groupings page the fact that people are using it for that shows the need for it

I'm not going to break down this quote but here are the facts if you do it, you "Can" get banned. The fact that people are using it this way shows a complete disregard for the rules and the game community.

I do however agree that thier is a need for a " Public posting area" for guilds that also does not consist of spaming multiple areas chat channels, However abusing a current one to do just this is a POOR way to get this done.

We have a forums page people USE IT.

    Default Less

Less forum use may actually be better.

An LFM that states "I am now doing my laundry." would not bother me...
Not does "Hanging-out in Tavern." bother me or "Role-playing group" or whatever.

An LFM that says a guild is hiring amuses me. It shows the server is alive with "going ons". It breaks up the monotny of just the LFM's.

It is easy to circumnavigate the restrictions.
If you are guild that wants to recuit set up an LFM for a quest run or a meeting, or note in LFM that you are having an "audition-style" run, then you may avoid the policy-noids.

We do appreciate the players who "look-out" for other players in making sure they do not get banned.

Its funny you would say less forum use may actually be better.

A lfm that states anything but grouping does bother me and it bothers many other people, its not about what doesnt or does bother you , or me eather. But it is something that bothers the gamming community, is a violation of rules, and can and will get you banned if people continue to do it.

Like I said this is just peoples warning mabey they didnt read ,mabey they did and missed it doesnt matter

PS leave the " NOIDS" out of it they died a long time ago with good fastfood pizza

Is that Lawful Neutral or Lawful evil you are role-playing?
No "tavern meets" nor pvp even!
    You rule with an iron-fist!

Any way here is Thee LFM:

Hello my name is <CHARACTER NAME HERE> I am the guild leader of <GUILD NAME HERE> we are auditioning new members in <WILDERNESS AREA NAME HERE>.

    Problem solved.
